Great job on discovering how a proper sniper simply deletes swarms in DRG Survivor! :) If you want to optimize this further, continue taking damage and reload speed for the M1000, but add to that overall crit chance and crit damage. You already receive a bonus to both crit stats from the Sharpshooter subclass. Your goal is to pierce a lot of enemies with the bullet from the ThickBoy and do a crit to all of them (with 100% crit chance preferably). Thus each bullet will do anywhere from 12 000 to 20 000 damage to the entire swarm. The Nitrogenic powder is the best artifact for this, along with the Squint Ees. Good run, you really made the build come alive and it seems you managed to lower the reload rate to around 1 second for the M1000 which is an achievement in of itself. :)
That was nuts! Lol, your speed at the end was hilarious too! I'm pretty sure the fire damage does indeed get added to the damage stat. Regardless, you deleted the entire map in those last couple floors LMAO. So many fun builds in this game!
It's awesome you read the suggestions and didn't blow them off. Told you it'd be fun. I tried doing other runs though and the shine wore off pretty quick due to how easy it is. Like you said the bugs can't even get to you so there's no suspense. Keep it up dude you're killing it.
Thanks! I love getting suggestions, I'm not a pro, and there's a lot of people out there who are much better than me at these types of games, so I always take good advice to heart.
You should definitely try to get the artifact for crit chance/dmg that you get for reaching 75% crit chance in a dive. That makes the rifle even stronger
Nice run!! I have a Thick Boy run coming up today aswell. This overclock was bugged for me before the last patch, the damage wasn't changing but the bullet count was still being set to 1 as it should be. This weapon is amazing! 😁😁 My crits were doing 60k damage with some doing 107k on that run. Total overkill. 😅😅
I had a fat boy build the other day with 100% crit that was hitting for 59k per shot, with about a half second reload. Poor final boss spawned and was immediately erased from existence. Haven't quite been able to reproduce THAT, but this build does consistently produce 20-30k hits even with poor RNG. Most reliable build I've come across so far.
It's really solid. I had pretty decent reload speed this run, but low crit chance and damage, and it handled Hazard 4 easily. I've only been able to get a few builds clearing Hazard 4...Sharpshooter, and Gunner with Thunderhead. I need to find some more.
It happens sometimes to me too...but I do like to push the limit a bit. It's literally a level or 2 sometimes if you just hang around and get that last bit of xp.
watching this video the thought occurred to me for weapons that shoot once and then reload that fire rate might actually do nothing.... its just a theory but it makes sense that it could potentially work like that.... im going to test later tonight when i get time to play
So about 12 years ago, I started playing this fun new game and posting videos of me playing it on YT, and it was my first time getting thousands of views on every video I would post. I didn't want to pursue it as more than just a fun thing to do every now and then, but it still felt good to have tons of comments and people asking my advice on how to do certain things in the game, or people offering me advice on how to do things a different way in my gameplay. It's cool to see a small channel getting the same blowup. Look at Dex. He exploded with Vampire Survivors, and then continued on to many of these style games. You have a good style and I like the videos I have seen from you so far.
Damn it didn't even give you the best overclock for 100% mag size, which sound useless at first because you have 1 shot with the thick boy...but that overclock states it complies all your shots into 1 round it basically giving you double damage with thick boy
The way to look at it is for each pickup upgrade you expect to at least get more than one levels worth extra to pay it back, cant rely on magnets and often you elave 1-4 levels worth on the ground when you leave, with pickup this wont happen, I aim to get at least 3 quarters of a screen pickup at least@@OHRyePlays
It's not Thick Boy that is amazing, it's the Pickled Nitra that is good. Artifacts modify damage multiplicatively. It means that when you have 50 nitra, you don't just get +100% of damage as if you picked 3 legendaries, you have your whole damage with all the percentages multiplied by 2. Which means as long as you keep gobbling up Nitra, your movespeed becomes your best damage stat: each 25% lost movespeed doubles your damage. Pickled Nitra is too OP.
@@cccmmll that’s the thing though, it’s still highly dependent on RNG and the layout of the terrain. But I do get the point of the build, when it works it’s awesome. Big risks, big wins.
Dang, and you got screwed on the lv. 6 and 12 overclock offerings too. The magazine one would have doubled your damage per shot after the thickening occurs. Just missed the lv 55 achievement for the zone, but too thiccc to pick up the xp. Next time.
The end screen damage statistics are kinda messy (iv even seen it several times that adding the damages manually didnt match up with the total damage calculated by the game), also the game mechanics, for example like what electricity and fire exactly do is unclear, definitely something to recommend to the developers to revise. Also never heared about this overkill shrapnel damage thing, its totally hidden to regular players.
Ya, the damage stuff is a bit weird. Here's what I think the status damages do...someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Acid - Straight DoT damage Fire - Staight DoT Damage Electric - Can spread the damage to nearby enemies. Plasma - Bounce I also think the overkill damage is only a thing for the sharpshooter, as a class bonus. But again, not 100%.
Watching you pass up resources and loot bugs all the time when the closest enemy is still a good few seconds away has me 😭You ain't gotta play THAT safe, man🤍
@@fepethepenguin8287 Yeah Dex is my favorite. Something about watching someone play at a lower level then you think you could, makes you want to back seat game and its annoying for everyone involved 😅 Like watching my family play anything...

Ya, I def needed higher crit rate and damage. I did get pretty good reload speed though. I think I got a 50% legendary this run.
That was nuts! Lol, your speed at the end was hilarious too!
I'm pretty sure the fire damage does indeed get added to the damage stat. Regardless, you deleted the entire map in those last couple floors LMAO.
So many fun builds in this game!
Yup, there's a lot more to do too...I still don;t have 5-6 guns unlocked!
Keep 'em coming, hooked!
It's funny how watching this satisfies and yet destroys my OCD for collecting things 😂
I have pretty severe OCD too...Keep strong friend lol.
Loving the thumbnails man! keep up the videos and we will keep watching them

Ya, I needed more crit this run for sure. Still crazy how good it did without it.
Good one, you have improved a lot since you started playing!
Man, I'd hope so lol.
That laugh in the end make me laugh too 😂

Nice! I lacked Crit chance and Crit Damage this run...I'll try to focus on that a bit more also.
Hey Oh Rye, I hope you have a great rest of your day too. Awesome video as ever ty
Definitely a sub for this one. It was pretty hilarious at the end there.
I'm so glad I didn't die! I thought for sure I was gonna get hit again...thanks for subbing!

Ya, fire rate does nothing for this gun (at least the thick boy overclock). You'd need all reload.
nm got to like 21:56 and then you said the same thing i was thinking

You need to get more pickup radius generally in your playthroughs.
I need to get a lot of things honestly.

funny ending haha
I was cracking up.
I would assume that magnet drops are also related to the luck stat.
Unfortunately you need to be lucky to get luck. 🤪🤪🤪

Pickled Nitra is the most divisive artifact in the game. Some people swear by it, others think it’s a trap and not worth getting.
Seen too many runs get thrown because they can’t move fast enough to dodge damage.
@@thecarlob_007 not a problem if you take movespeed at every opportunity and manage your Nitra reserves.

Just don't be as greedy as Wanderbots. Lol. He's killed so many runs trying to squeeze out one or 2 more hits on minerals.
