If he had doubled it without landing I’d agree but dropping and then jumping for it it’s a good redirect, just not a replay worthy shot for the best players in the world

Since Yesterday i notice how bad my friends really are in rotation. now you can see that if you are in the #3 spot with full boast. and the #1 and #2 spot instead of getting back to let #3 with full boost come up. They rather charge the ball with 0 boost. (even if not possible)
it's even more frustrating then before. put yourself in my position none of us are pro's don't play the game enough to get there either ever. and 2 of the 3 are ball chasers so bad, they eventually end up always hitting each other or the same ball, or defend the wrong way so the only defender (me) gets outplayed by their own team mates and it ends up in goal.
The worst thing is though. they are making the same mistakes for year and years on end by now. don't think it ever gonna change 🤣

I'm so torn by it. love it, but miss the mystery, but as a solo que player it's a huge plus.

I think If they added the number amount like it would say 20% 80% ect.

Flip resets were always there, just weren’t discovered
@@grislydiamond6 nope, back in 2016 or 2017 when rocket labs were introduced they made it so you keep ur flip infinitely went going off walls, the ceiling or a ramp(what it was meant for) which in turn accidentally gave us the ability to flip reset

My only concern if someone finds out a way to hack the game and see the opponents boost bubbles. This is an awesome change and I’m all for it, but it could lead to our first actual way to “cheat” in rl, similar to like wall hacks in an fps. Would love to hear your thoughts on this
Lately there was big wave of cheaters with invisible cheat, so it wouldn't be first way to cheat. There were bots also. Like really, really good bots which could shot bangers from every position on field.
But yeah it would be bad. If you see your opponent has no boost you know he is gonna probably fake the shoot or somethig.
People hacking to see opponents boost is by far the least damaging of all the issues RL has faced, the bots and invisible car issues. But I think it will be the easiest to discover how to exploit, thankfully they still have to be good at the game since boost levels only is an advantage in absolute conditions. I really don't see this causing issues beyond the already high ranks that understand just about everything in RL, and 1v1 mode really should be the only mode that would see a sharp advantage state increase from a boost exploit
Squishy, I saw someone questioning why they didn’t add small boost meters to the UI next to your own boost meter instead of the circles by the nameplates. What are your thoughts on that? Do you think Psyonics made the right choice?
I definitely like on the nameplates more. When you watch the play and think about how you should play off your tm8, you already look for where his car is so then you also instantly see how much boost he has. Your own boost meter is quite big so estimating how much boost you have doesn’t require much focus, but looking at a small boost meter in the corner to see tm8’s boost while watching the play gets quite annoying I think.

Every no boost excuse is going to be moot. This will make the game a lot more and lot less toxic, will be interesting to see how things adjust.
I would like to think that but now when toxic people see that you maybe try to do plays without boost and they think those desicions were bad, they propably roast you about that. Toxic people finds a way to be toxic, it just how it is. Personally like this change anyway and it does makes this game more playable.

biggest change i've noticed is that solo queue is less toxic now bc people actually try to help out their teammates and let them go for solo plays when it makes sense

That what I was saying. Being able to see your tm8s boost will change the way you rotate the way you defend and attack. It’s actually crazy how such a small change can add a lot. Keep doing this rocket league. You HAVE to recover from removing trading

I remember years ago thinking about ways psyonix couldve implemented this into the game my way of thinking was showing everyones boost but im happy with how they did it only showing team only boost
