- Another part in Asiatique riverfront. It was a cool experience for us. Had an exotic food which I couldn't believe that I had it. Crocodile meat treated us well. We liked it. Experiencing new food like this gives me the pleasure within.

Dead fish is pure as it has no (flowing) blood that remains in it's meat due to its natural death , unlike four leg animals there is no need to slaughter them and let their Blood flow out side.
The case of fish is different , it's blood do not gush in thier meat even if they die Naturally . As soon as fish is brought out of the water, and due to it's shrinking without water , whole of it's blood will move into a part called the epiglottis, which is not eaten and thrown out and hence we get fresh & pure meat

Not in Islam but in Hanafi madhhab which is one of the four school of Islam it’s not halal. But for Shafi madhhab and Ahl al Hadith Muslims crocodile meat is Halal. Muslims in East Africa and East Asia eat crocodile meat with no problem.

One opinion states that it is comparable to fish based on the general implication of the words of Allah on water animals “It is permitted for you to catch and eat seafood” [Al-Ma`ida: 96], the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said, “Its water is pure and its dead animals are lawful to eat”, and the general implication of the words of Allah, “[Prophet], say, ‘In all that has been revealed to me, I find nothing forbidden for the people to eat, except for carrion, flowing blood, Pig’s meat-it is loathsome-or a sinful offering over which any name other than God’s has been invoked” [Al-An’am: 145]. This is also because the principle of permissibility applies until it is established otherwise.
