I saw their performance at prelims and it was enough to make me stick around for finals. The camera isn't capturing how tight they actually were in person. Another ensemble that was a crowd favorite was Siege Percussion in open class. I think we'll hear more about them in the days ahead.
Should’ve reacted to their actual show runs that day. That lot wasn’t their best but they popped a 90 in music cause they’ve been delivering on the floor. The content level is on par with the very top, if they keep being confident on the floor I don’t see why they can’t fight for higher than 5th this time
Well they found a video from a great channel and just reacted to it, sounds like u kinda mad or something lol. The show is fire like the last couple years and they might have a chance to be higher then 5th, so u right. The demand is there, just gotta lock it in when the time is right at Finals. The show can be designed the best it wants, they can play it fire all year, but it’s about those 3 runs ( especially finals night) to bring it home. I’ve been around to long to see a show that should’ve won just not sound great on finals night. I hope they do it, cuz the show is sick!
Most groups at this level do pick specific pitches for the basses and tenors. Seems that different groups have different tuning schemes they prefer and will stick with.
Great to see Infinity coming so strong out of the gate! Very nice to see. Since it was offered up, general activity opinion and observation this year that I might get some flak for but I know I can't be alone in the opinion: The woodwind/brass utilization that is creeping into the activity has to be limited. I understand the marching arts in general is about achievement and innovation but I do not like this innovation. WGI has provided an avenue for that and its Winds - and its very cool. I do not want brass/woodwind in my indoor drumline shows. I apologize for the curtness of my opinion rubs others wrong. Not poopooing on what people create and achieve but it is not my dig and I would hope that it does not become a trend.
just because they are playing ninelets and have some weird space doesn’t mean they’re trying to sound like broken city. Also show me any other groups who are trying to sound like BC? Everyone has their unique style and that’s what’s up.
Here 1st!!! Forgive me for being so close lol, I was right behind the drum set and couldn’t back up anymore.
Great video work as always, Calvino! 👏😎
Haha gotta take whatever space you can get!
@@agedoutpodcast very true
@@MandoPercussion thanks dawg 😎🥁

@@buckdacioushow did it sound like he was mad? he was just giving a suggestion lmao
@@buckdacious you just agreed with me while saying I’m mad. So are you mad too? Lol but fax
I could see infinity medalling this year tbh
Cymbal Line opened up the show in Pulse 2013 - Renegade
For The Infinite Algorithm! 💪😎
Broken city 22 opened with some light cymbal line textures
Ahh you’re right. Forgot about that in the moment
For the "for the algorithm" guy
rhytmn x please 🙏🙏 theyre starting off so strong, like, theyre so clean from the side and such a cool book overall!
i would recommend watching impact percussion, they are on fire
still need to edit that video
Also can we come up with another rhythmic motif??? Feel like its been triplet-tap for like 5 years now cmon lol duplets need some love
Excited to see those early predictions
The end of the quad break in the closer is a 4-2-2
Noted!
I was wondering what that was, good looking out
For the algorithm. ✊
bro is it me, or are their basses tuned to pitch? 5 - Eb, 4 - Bb, 3 - Eb, 2 - G, 1 - Bb ??

I liked the center snare’s work in the movie “The Sandlot”
Your'e killing me Smalls
My eyes 👀 are going: PLEASE back up the camera 🎥 😮
pulse is gonna win again and i’m not mad about it this year, rhythm x is getting very close tho with their recent videos and scores
angry broken city
Nope, REAL Broken City is way hungrier this year
@@ayytism8857infinity is lowkey more hungry, BC has been consistently medaling and i don’t think infinity has medaled yet could be wrong tho.
Can someone explain why their uniforms look like they’re knights?
I think they’re just wearing their own Infinity/section gear. Not the uniform tops

It’s not bad, but I’m so tired of everyone and their grandma trying to sound like BC.
Infinity and BC is like Bluecoats and Rhythm X or Blue Devils and RCC

@@juhstion if you haven’t picked up on it, then that’s on you. There’s a laundry list of groups.
