- The Foggy dew is such a strong an emotional piece, I tried to tackle it when I started playing the tin whistle but it did not go well. Today, with my original backing track I came back and made a beautiful cover.

Nice version and ornamentation. Not too much just the right application. My favourite whistle is the killarney. Well played, when you play with your heart and soul it resonates. Excellent rendition 👌🏻👍🏻🇮🇪

I used to play tin whistle, but my wife hated it. Then I played fiddle, and she hated that even more. Then I began playing banjo, and she hated that the most, and that is when I knew, I had finally found my instrument. I love her, but she is the most tone deaf person I know. If she don't like it, it's probably really good. Any way, great cover! I still play the whistle every so often.
Maybe it's time to try a new wife.

I remember learning this in primary school, been hearing it in the Witcher 3 thinking I went insane because of how familiar it was. Glad I wasn't nuts and was just experiencing nostalgia.

What a pleasant surprise! I have a vocal rendition of this song on one of my CDs. I've never paid attention to the name. But the way it sounds when the lady sings it is fantastic. Your tin whistle version was just as good as the song I remember so fondly.

In terms of the speed, nice tempo for the song. Tweak the tune and give it a little bit of embellishment' it'll sound amazing if you play it as an air, which is what the original tune was, then slow it down a touch and it'll sound even better. This is positive encouragement from an Irish musician 👏

@@richardcoats6430 I create them (most of the times). This is by far the hardest and most time consuming part for me. Having said that, once it clicks it's really fun.

Nope, I got it as a present a year and a half ago. As I mentioned many times in the comments, this is an incredible whistle and a huge value for money.
