This piece gives me those old school sideshow statue vibes, in a very good way. I’m a big fan of mixed media though 💯💯 Happy thanksgiving!
Nice! We must pay propa respect to the OG that started it all!!! The truck driver scenes just stuck with me all my life… watching Superman get the shit kicked out of him by a random dude was something… and I loved it when SUPES returned the favor!
Thanks for being the first one in The YT to review.... The box is superbly done Love the pose, costume and the elegance of the base. Great paint apps for SS standard. The likeness is there about 75-80% The only thing that bugs the hell out of me is what's with the neckline????
Love the silver art box. Not a big fan of the mixed media elements. Would of preferred the cape and costume to be fully sculpted. Other than that, if you’re a movie collector whose childhood was in the 80’s, (like me), this is the OG Superman. The sculpt is actually excellent. The paint job is not on the level. Ideally, if i had the money, i would buy it and had it over to a pro to repaint the head only. Otherwise, I would be quite happy as is.
I gotta say, I'm not hating the head sculpt. Is it perfect? No...and what's up with that seam?? BUT... I don't think this deserves the level of hate I'm seeing from other collectors.
