It was relaxing to listen and watch you change your dolls for the holidays. Yes I do turn my dolls heads backwards to avoid Velcro in the hair. 😂 both of your Kirstin’s are so sweet. ❤

i checked my catalogue from 2013 and what it says about saige’s sparkle dress is that: “saige wears this taffeta dress to celebrate her birthday!” kind of strange that they didn’t just opt to call it her birthday dress hehe

Hahaha thank you for fact checking! That must be from the second Saige book; I don’t remember that one as well!

@DollsOnSkates, as someone who has read both books, yes, she wears in her second book. It's also in her movie too. I always call it her birthday dress anyway.

On the body tag thing, I think Mattel used older heads and limbs on newer bodies. For instances my kayas head says Pleasant Company 2002, but the body tag says 2008. I believe the Pleasant company branding was completely dropped in 2008 or 2009. I know the boxes were changed in 2006 to say American Girl. Side note Corrine Tan is GOTY 2022. On the topic of copyright, as long as it's not a leak or you're not claiming to own the image, you don't need to worry. I suggest you credit and link your source in description. Any great video to study to. I am working on a paper for school right now.

Thanks for all the info!! Good luck on your paper!! I figured that about the head and limbs, but thought the transition bodies were more early 2000s! Just an example of why PCs/AGs are so cool: even two of the same doll are rarely alike!
