I never watched my footage until months later and that part made me burst out laughing! Happy it did for you too! And the swearing?! I didn’t realize I swore so much but it’s funny somehow. Thanks for sharing feedback - it’s helpful!
Golly.. I get home last nite and think I need a “Human on the Loose.” And, a glass of wine. I find Nothing! Dammm. Then.. I check this morning and there you are! I’m doin yoga and watching it.. Well trying.. More coffee.. Then, I’m goin’ ridin’.. The Best one yet. Thank you Naomi!!
@@johnsteffen3839 Dang John, thanks for the idea, Stock reruns and popcorn. I like. I so relate, and now I know what I am doing right after Antiques Roadshow tonight. With beer of course.
You're a wonderful story teller Naomi. The reason that most people will get off and on a bike on the left is because that's how you get on and off a horse. People just kept doing it the same way. Happy and safe travels.
More usefully for bikes, getting off the bike on the left side and / or stopping and putting your left foot down keeps you clear of the chain and drive train… reducing the chance of a “chain tattoo”.
Naomiiii, My distant Friend. What a beautiful place, if I were me, I would swim in this beautiful river!!! After all, poor us Brazilians, we are suffering with so much heat!!! Congratulations your joy , always contagious
Your opening scenes are so awesome! Haha! RE: dismounting - I also dismount on the left even though I'm right-handed. For me, it's the whole philosophy of dismounting opposite the drivetrain - and with that thought, I'll also lean my bike against something on the non-drive side. ps. Good on you for speaking well of Skip.
That was another fun segment of your uber adventures! So cool that you include the real world thing you encounter on the way thru the great divide. Yes, follow your instincts! Thanks again for putting a smile on my face! Your singing is better than you let on.
How awesome sleeping in a tee pee!! I also love how you show your routes on the topo map with music! That was super cool too when you ran into the other cyclist who had been following you! Have fun up there it's so beautiful!!✌🥇😇
Great video Naomi ! Do not worry about bitchin rants they are very entertaining so thanks for sharing. Besides if you don't experience getting out of your comfort zone whats the point of the adventure haha. Im so jealous that trail is on my bucket list for sure ! If the boarders ever open up, come on up to the wilderness in Ontario Canada. We would love to have ya !
@@HumanontheLoose Awesome ! there is so many places to go. My favourite is the Muskokas. Many trails to ride and hike for all levels of adventure. Looking forward to the next video Naomi.
Love that you came across other adventurous women. What a fabulous idea ~ rain pants to rid those pesky mosquitoes. AND of course you wouldn't turn around because the bridge was out, what fun would there be to that?!?😄🤪❤
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!! Another great video! Thanks for starting my day off with your latest post. I miss my Tipi but $100? Wow! But it's hard to put a price on a cool experience. Lol. I can't believe you ran into someone who can't read or write! I feel like it's like an old episode of Gunsmoke, there is always someone who can't read or write ob that show. But it sounds like he's a really good guy. That store us incredible to, all the important stuff you need. As for the washed out bridge deal, I'm so glad you didn't listen and went that way anyway. I would do the same thing because it usually pays off plus I love to do things my own way, especially taking routes that others wouldn't. (Crazy that guy was a wuss and told you to not go that way.) Oh well it worked out. Also glad that you still haven't run into a Grizzly. Lol. You seem to be coping with the mosquitoes just fine, hate the bastards myself! And the two ladies doing the Divide? Very cool. All in all another great chapter on your beautiful adventure. Thanks again and enjoy!! 🌹❤🚴
@@HumanontheLoose Thanks for the compliment. I did forget to mention the porta potty. I have to agree about why is there a stand up urinal to stare you in the face when sitting? I don't know about anyone else but I'm perfectly capable of hitting the big hole when peeing!! Lol. Looking forward to your next video. Enjoy your evening and weekend.
Just discovered your videos, fuck they're great. Very natural in front of the camera, and with a great conscience. Kia kaha from New Zealand. I should've been riding that trail last year (damn Covid).
Naomi, get a Tailfin rack (UK company), you can mount your Saddlebag to that or use their dedicated bag. Get one.....eliminates the unsupported bag issue and allows you to carry more weight, bag is far more rigidly held etc etc....
Oh fuck, here comes another person, lol, lol. Good call on the river crossing. Btw, a bear would have your bag. Can't remember if you have scent proof bags or not. The other option is don't hang your bag but tie it to a tree using an Ursack. Dusty roads with traffic, such a pain.
11:16 Five Thirty 🕦 animal hour.... Thinking back I did see the black bear cub around 5-6pm 🤔😳🤷 Also I dismount the same as you even though I'm right handed Coincidentally though my parents are both lefties 😂
I just Googled that term and laughed when I saw - I have one on my mountain bike. But then - I wouldn't get to listen to my terrible singing. 😉 Seems that's the popular side. Thanks for sharing Bil!
"Super Buff guy who looked like he was probably in the Marines, very handsome guy, I don't know why he was being such a pansy." Lotta mix signals going on there...but I' know getting them words out.
My guess would be that urinals in a porta potty are so guys won't pee all over the seat. I can't tell you how many times I've seen that in a publis restroom. Sucks in in your face when you sit down though. Some guys won't clean up after themselves if their aim is off.
pansy, lol. i love the humor and the swearing. oh and the bike ride, cheers

HA! In a super rare occurrence a woman was pulled from her tent behind the PO a few months ago from a grizzly. She must have slept with her tent open.
