The fly leaf on the front looks like a ring protector to stop the rings from marking up the inside of the leather cover. Stunning cover, and the inserts are so clean and professional looking - would love to see a pen test!
Thanks to your video, I went on Harrods site and ordered a personal in the colour Dawn. It’s different than any colour combo I’ve seen directly from Filofax.
It's not a ring-protector - it's punched so wouldn't work. It's a page-marker. I'm a huge fan of the Original and have several colours of A5, Personal, and the folios. Superb quality leather and nice simple design.
Does the pen loop bother you or get in the way when writing? The placement is a con for me, but I’m obsessed with the pink colour so will probably still end up getting it anyway !
Thank you for your comment. No and yes. The pen loop farthest to the left on the edge is not a problem. However the pen loop on the inner side does create a problem for writing, depending upon how much paper is underneath the page I’m writing on. I tried putting in a plastic fly leaf for cover but simply stopped using the the inner pen loop. When I need to carry two pens I simply clip the second pen to the middle and slide it over to the left. I have several non- Harrods Filofax Originals in various sizes and and do that for all of them. The inner pen loop problem is not unique to the Harrods edition.
Enjoyed your video Steve! Thanks for the walk through on this planner. The planner is beautiful and reminds me of the Centennial Filofax. I’m on the fence about picking up the Harrod’s one though. I would have preferred that the planner didn’t have Harrod’s on it and too bad it’s not available in a pocket size.
One thing also to be aware of, the Harrods planner is a little thicker than the regular originals. But if you prefer the pocket size, than the Centennial in Pocket size may be a good option for you.

Have you seen the Harrods own organiser with the shop and the name on the front.
