Thank you for your emotions! I cried just like you while watching the video. The Soho moment just broke my heart. The boys put their whole soul into this song and video. They managed to convey all their experiences, sadness, longing. They really miss their loved one, we all know who he is. In my opinion, Pygmalion is the most wonderful, sincere album! Listen to the rest of the songs on the album and you'll understand. The lyrics there are so good that you will cry again... I think the guys are doing everything right, you can't hold back your emotions. They are honest with their fans and share their experiences with us, which is great! And we should always be there and support them!
Thank you for reacting and your continued support. I love seeing your raw and honesty in your reactions. I agree that the lyrics are ambiguous enough for multiple meanings. Thank you again. The song is gorgeous.
What a nice surprise to see this reaction ! Thank you so much for this and thank you for addressing everything. I basically have the same thoughts as you and it just feels so good to know I'm not alone ♥ I got really emotional when I saw the mv for the first time as well, even without the lyrics. It just felt so bittersweet (like Leedo said, sad songs are sadder when the melody is bright) and I really had the impression that this was the guys expressing how they felt at the time, how they thought their world was crashing down. But at the same time, it's also a new beginning, the end of an era. And I'm so proud of them for staying strong and coming back with an amazing album (I just know it will be), for never giving up and for showing everyone that they are still there and not going anywhere, despite what they've been through and what some people may have said. And yeah, team ot5 + Ravn all the way ! Also, I wouldn't mind if you skipped Let's debut to check out Giuk's solo because it is just amazing ! The whole album is just incredible and I'm really proud of him ♥ Anyways, thank you again for this video ! I may only be active on here but I'm really glad I found you 🥰
Ngl I had to take a break from ONEUS for a moment cuz I just couldn't handle it. I felt like a was betraying them by taking a break from them at this time as well. Even though I know that me, as an individual, is pretty insignificant specially cuz I can't even support them financially or communicate with them cuz I don't know korean and I can't afford anything. I'm so glad for your reaction cuz it made me feel better with the discussion you guys had at the end. Now I'm also glad that they at least was able to express themselves through this song and MV. I really appreciate it cuz i know so many groups that never managed to acknowledge ANYTHING in anyway. MONSTA X with Wonho is the situation that comes to mind, that was very hard for me as a monbebe. At least Wonho was able to refute the allegations against him and managed to appeal to the public. Ravn still hasn't managed that cuz people just was so quick to jump the gun and got so angry. I'm happy to see him still making music but oh gosh. Oof we're now circling right back around to sad in this comment. Anyway, thank you so much for this reaction. Thank you so damn much.
This will sound really random, but, apart from loving mythology (so happy they incorporate it in their concepts), I have a fond memory connected to Halley's Comet. The last time it was seen in Earth's skies it was 1986. I was in middle school in Switerzland and they took us on a school trip to a planetarium where we watched it with a telescope. I still remember it after so many years. Oneus seems to often go and touch on things that shaped me as a young girl: they did a Thriller cover (that's how I discovered your channel ❤❤) which reminded me of a school prank we pulled on our classmates (we entered the school building in the early morning on Halloween and surprised them by playing the song) and they did a dance cover to Top Gun, one of my favorite movies from the same years (loved Maverick as well!). We have a connection of some sort, or so it feels like to me
This comeback's going to be emotional. But I believe in ALL our boys and I'm so proud of them all. They all went through hell. Yeah, there's a lot of past memories being played out in the MV and like Oneus said their memories won't fade away. I agree with ya'll 100% On everything and No you're not alone
This song was so emotional, even if I'm new to ONEUS I'm impressed by the lyrics and I believe the lyrics are related to them ad RAVN for sure. OMG they're going through so much, also Seoho voice made me cry for real I could feal his pain even if the MV was shooted I'm sure he had some emotions kept inside.
I kinda feel like the shooting star was like they were flying high from the same scent then it was right once they hit the highest point it shattered and crumbled. I mean they had just won several awards for it then this all went down. And they talk alot about thier timeline. And I believe from what I have heard the movie they are watching is about 6 astronauts and one had to be left behind. And the empty chair, and the camera position that kept empty space for someone who wasn't there. And I saw alot of remembrances of the past.
I'm a bit loss of words here, so I'll just make it short and say this: ✨Thank you so much, Mer and Free! ✨ Watching this reaction of yours, hearing your views on everything, it's the THERAPY I needed. The past hour felt like a support group sharing that's somewhat like a reflection on stuff I personally couldn't properly let out in the past days and months. See you at the comeback in a few hours~ xxx
Hey babes ❤ I'm watching this after the comeback dropped 😂 I can't wait to see your erase me reaction ofc if you plan to do it Today I'm so emotional I cried a lot gladly I'm alone in my office.. I'm so proud of them the songs of this album are amazing like I can't choose witch one is my fav... I love y'all my fellow tomoons ❤
I don't care what Rantis have to say but to me there is no doubt unforgettable is about/for Ravn ...both the lyrics and visual cues from the mv point to that...and if everyone denies this then sorry but they are the delusional ones🤷♀️ btw. I read that the word used for "I miss you" can't be used for a time or place but only for a person. I am also very curious about the message of Erase me....
I'm not anti-Ravn but I truly doubt this is about him. None of the members worked on composing, producing or writing lyrics. How would they input anything about Ravn in here?
Why not? Boys wasn't the only ones who worked with him. The japanesse producer of their songs was one of the people who directly post words to him after the news of him leaving. He worked with a lot of people who produced their songs. It isn't totally impossible. It is very rare. I'm not saying it is definitely it but one of the possibilities.
@Angel omg I just now realized that the answer I wrote was apparently not send? And it was quite a long one too😭 Anyway to make it short: your point is quite valid actually and when I first saw the tracklist I was also skeptical because of this. However the producers of this albums are mostly the same that worked with Oneus for years so they would know the guys well enough to put their feelings into music...and maybe the members were even able to give input after all. Anyway while I think most of the creative team of rbw would be on Ravn's side, the management most likely just want to milk both ravn supporters and antis alike so they allowed this kind of subtle tribute/send off while not being too obvious so antis could easily ignore the signs...that's how I see it anyway 🤷♀️
The whole comet-end of the world theme made me think of the 2021 movie Don't Look Up, on the same topic. There may not be a direct influence, but, given how they often reference theater and movies, I wouldn't be surprised if there was. Unforgettable is so good it could've easily been a title track
Even in the times when they were smiling and seeming to be happy-go-lucky, you can’t be incompetent enough to believe that. There’s no way they were allowed to show how upset they were, so for anyone to take those moments at face value clearly doesn’t understand how the music industry works or the price of fame.
