  • Eglinton park Irvine Ayrshire.Field Combined late August.Perfect weather for baling - Cloudless blue skies and 18c plus another 2 dry days go get them moved to the barn then it's all down hill again - wind/rain next week - Update - Forecasters were wrong No rain just wall to wall sunshine 23rd - 30th Sep
    Wish there was a dairy show to film.Was due fly to RWF end of next month (now cancelled).Even 2021 looks doubtful for AG shows

    Looks a decent crop there . Did you get plenty straw you were hoping for. Looks a glorious sunny day too 😃👍

      Thicker swath at the other end of the field. Got more bales than last year.Looks like straw is going to be scarce/expensive this winter

      @@holsteincowboy was speaking to my neighbour yesterday hes been buying barley Straw at 118 per ton already things could be very expensive unless folk start using more alternatives like sawdust and woodchip ect

      @@georgerome5416 I use wood chip in some of the sheds. Keeps the cattle cleaner than straw if piled up (4feet deep)
