  • Bessette da ‘uni leg’ Birdie - so encouraging and supportive! An inspiration for all 😉 and she actually does have a preference for specific sounds/vibrations as noticed holding her while at piano gauging her reaction. She’s fast asleep, almost smiling. I tap note E Flat…. She’s quickly alert, fussy, nipping at my hand… I go back to another note… she settles back in with the ‘low neck’ eyes closed and all is one with the universe again. Amazing little loves. Xo

Thank You. She is soooo funny. Best pet, friend, house mate EVER. In her 8th year (9 now) some freak incident occurred overnight in her cage necessitating amputation of her right leg. I was devastated for her! Now a year following, with many adjustments to her care, environment and basically every way we previously interacted… have developed a ‘new normal’ and she is thriving once again. I need to carve out some time to edit/upload some videos of the last year, the journey etc which are now becoming funny again. Some (very few! Yet important just the same) who are familiar with her, watch her videos, are not even aware of or notice the missing leg - must be a lesson in that somewhere. Hm… perhaps she has a children’s book on the horizon 🥰
