I am Assistant Loco Pilot in indian railways. The way he is describing about the signal system, is quite similar to the training I got in training schools. In India, these systems are tought under Safe Working Rules..... 👍👍👍. Here in India, almost all stations are equipped with RRI.

@@geturshittogether2467 semaphore signalling is a remnant of a British era, and now the latest is RRI or route relay interlocking system... the kind of manual lever track switch system is also quite antiquated and RRI disposes that in favour of an electronic management system. A further evolution perhaps would be ETCS, where trackside signalling would also be eliminated..

I'm an engineer in Indian Railways...this is totally same as Indian Railways used before so many years.but now days we have more advanced system. These are in meter gauge railway system that was already closed in Indian Railways after conversion in broad gauge.pakistan Railway still using straight switch in Points.

Extremely informative and I am taken back to 2000 and before when I used to travel to Bhopal and on the way used to see the A and B cabins where they had these levers to switch tracks, regulate systems, and even entry and exit of trains and even goods marshalling... find memories recreated and thanks mr. sites and sounds for this video!!... learned a lot about signalling in this video... semaphore is still present in parts of Orissa, and Indian Punjab too... what a sight to see semaphores actually... great job describing and am a new subscriber to this channel.. ur content, presentation and professionalism has won me over!!...

Signaling system is a system that does not come in front of most common people, I am also an Indian Railway employee and work in the Signal Department, this system is almost over in Indian Railways, now new systems like Automatic Signal, Route Relay Inter locking system (RRI), SSI, electronic interlocking (EI) is being used, I also wished to see a video containing information about Pakistan railway signal system, thank you very much for that

Abi compueriesed signaling system jisame cabin hoti hi nahi. Chhota station hai to station master ke pas ek rel patriyonke nakshewala panal hota hai jisame laal hari chhoti lights hoti hai our niche dher sare lal hare buton hote vah ise khud hi opareter karata hai. Our bade station par signling building hoti hai our bada sa tamzam hota hai. Use signle control room bhi kahate hai. lekin vaha sirf dekhana bhar hota hai vah sab computrised hota automatic tarse chalata hai bas usprdhyan dena hota hai. Kyun ki gadiya itani badh gayi hai ke adami ke liye munasib nahi raha. lekin jo bhi ho kuchh purani chije dekhane ko mili
