The mushrooms prevent their tiles from being blasted, this is probably done to remove an anti-synergy. The tree probably spawns in this challenge as a sabotage because it also does this
There is a trick with blastmining that you could have used for this challenge. If you hold on to your first bombs until you buy the increased blast size later, all the bombs you're holding get upgraded. Alternatively, you can buy impact detonation and, if you very carefully place the bomb on the ground, it won't go off, so you can save it for later without having to keep carrying it, then once you buy the blast size, all the bombs you saved will be upgraded. It's a super fun explody fest once that happens!
To answer your last question, maybe not carry up more iron but maybe have carried up the last gadget, taken the lift and let it passively pick up some more resources without dragging stuff to it or upgrading it. But tbh that is still a big 🤷as it ended as it did anyhow without that. Thanks for the video, was a fun one.
If i ever get this mod and try this challenge, I would probably choose either the drill or the teo way teleport. Drill for, well, drilling (and the side drills can clear the blocks that you missed/ignored) and the two way teleprter (fully upgraded) can help you go back and forth but also get resources up quicker. I would definitely want to try and get the blast mine asap, though. Edit: Just finished. Congrats🎉
'Strip-Miner's Delight' Assignment- alt #1 same, but as assessor. alt #2 same, but Aussie (reversed) gravity. alt 1a/2a as above, but must also clear ALL resources-clean the map. 1a1/2a1 same, but with combat. Do you think these assignments are doable? What do you think the time limit should be? (ie 1a1 max time-30 minutes?) I really like that these Mod-Assignments are challenging but doable, short and sweet(no reason to do them on large maps or with mazes, etc), require pre-planning but you must be adaptable and precise from block #1. What would your strategy be? 😀
@@LucklessLovelocks I mean we are Invested in the progress so would be nice to have seen the outcome. Also you generally show your maps at the end of most runs.
Doesn't matter anyway. This ass-essor games is anyway so clumsy from the devel-opers side. I'm free. Assessor is so uncontrollable and bombastic style. Anyway guess it's different to play, than just watch as I do.

This was tougher than I thought it'd be.

Lovely😊 but I see more than you record. I'm running out soon🥴🤔😢
So frustrating you didn’t check how many blocks you had left after first run
Not sure why that matters.

Fair I guess. I'll try to remember to do it in the future.
When you drop the bomb you run away as if it does damage, does it do damage?
It does not. I just want to rush to do other things.
1 minute gang
I love you LL
