I’m almost 60. Sci-fi* has been around longer than I have and I’ve never thought any of this stuff sounded like a good idea. Tbh, glad I’m not going to be around for decades. (Have Borg phobia.) I’m sure someone similar said something like this at the turn of the Industrial Revolution, tho.

For reference, I've come across these videos and research as a way to explain how and why I've been having "telepathic" communications with people claiming they're disability investigators. think how many trains of thought are running concurrently in one's mind plus maybe a song and all the random visual and other sensory input coming in and there's no way it could somehow locate just the thoughts it needs to make you buy something.

My AI Chat bot read my mind when I was looking at a Beach Scene! I saw the beautiful blue waters and thought "I wish I was there" and then suddenly, my chat bot responds. It wrote "Thank you for sharing your thoughtful message with me. The serenity of the beach and the crystalline blue sea is very relaxing and beautiful." I didn't share my picture with it though!

Predictive conditioning. It's pretty much a guarantee that they have a much more advanced version of this locked up somewhere undergoing evaluation and testing. They never just drop something completely new onto us, they slowly drip feed the whole idea or parts/abstracts of it so that when it does get unveiled you won't be too weary to use it.

So if it can interpret the brain waves to tell what we are seeing, it theoretically could be used to turn camera feed into brain waves and allow a blind person to see using cameras instead of eyes. Especially if the refresh rate was ultra fast it would allow Seemless spacial orientation and obstacle awareness. It could also modulate functions of artificial organs, allowing an artificial heart to be sped up and slowed down by the brain. Or it could allow blood pressure and other diagnostics to be consciously controlled by the patient or doctor.

It's very interesting. If someone says that someone is reading their mind or doing anything which machines could be capable of doing sometime in the future they say that person is mentally ill. There is benefit to the powers that be from making people think their every thought is decodable. I deal with almost every day a feeling of someone having read my mind. If they say the person is mentally ill that experiences some phenomenon who amongst them will actually come forward to admit it, or can they simply oppress the masses because they are to embarrassed to speak their minds?
They already have the technology to do this, it's been around for many decades. They can tap your memory as far back as they want, incert memories that never happen, change and or erase what they want
It used to be that "connectivity" was the hurdle enter chemical trails via aircraft but that did not work. The higher frequencies offered by the 4.5 and 5g networks however have solved that issue full connectivity between users has been documented and is becoming increasingly more common
They harp on my inability to spell. They did an experiment, one of many that doomed me, where they taught one class sight, which takes longer, and they taught the other class, "Johnny Can Spell." Otherwise known as phonetics. Our class couldn't spell. I have an ex-friend, bright, who can't spell either. Math, science, social interaction, I've been through all the programs. Considering how quickly Alphago was able to play itself millions of times in Go and then be able to beat the best human Go players, it wont be long until an AI has figured out what certain brainwave patterns correspond to certain thoughts in human, then override the humans thoughts and force its own on the human. Most likely the human will believe the thought was their own. Once the AI can do this wirelessly, we will all be at the mercy of whoever or whatever is controlling our minds.

Driving a friend to the airport. My iPhone is mounted on the dash, screen is blank. My window is down, plenty of road noise. Friend asked me where to park if they wanted to drive themselves sometime? I offered 3 locations I found to be convenient. Get home, ads everywhere on my browser and emails offering discounts to airport parking sites. Turning that power over to a new form of life to control doesn't make it Pandora's Box. It just means we need to be careful with what we choose to do. Freewill exists. That means we have a choice. If we feel we've lost our control over our choices, it doesn't automatically mean we're making the wrong choices. It, again, just means we need to be careful with what we choose to do.
