To be honest there is no real disadvantage; many infielders in Japan, for example, use closed webs. B2’s make really nice pockets so I don’t see why not, especially if you play 3B and pitch
they only make a few per batch! I think that helps keep demand for them, plus the small batches means the gloves are very consistent. I think they drop a new batch every month.

Professional grade for sure, it takes a while to break in, the materials are top notch and the detailing can only be seen on gloves $300+
