BMG is a 12.7mm round which is Anti material designed to penetrate heavy/armored material, the MBT also carries an L30 120mm Rifled gun which packs a punch, which fires long rod operator rounds and High Explosive rounds most capable of destroying building structures in our modern era and modern enemy armor. Edit: I have no idea how durable is the Challanger 2 armor as the document is classified.
