    I just installed this package on my 2019 mustang gt Premium. It deffinitly provides a good background punch that the 9 speaker system kind of lacks. This kit does NOT come with instruction and the harness is lacking in labels. So this video is the only install material that exists (pdf instructions are not available on their website for the mustang as of me writing this). There is a white 8 pin pigtail that goes into the sub enclosure which is used with a short 4 to 8 pin jumper harness which is not mentioned in the video. That connects the sub to the amp out and is completely unlabeled ( the amp out port is just labeled 'speaker'. This is extremely missleading as the harness that goes to the rear decklid speakers is labeled 'amp out' on my harness. Also, DO NOT lift straight up on your rear sets you WILL break the plastic frame. Under the center of each seat bucket there is a 2 finger sized tab which you PUSH IN, towards the trunk, this may have been changed on the 2018+ mustangs.
    All of the wiring is extremely high quality, and excellently loomed with quality connectors. The enclosure fits snugly and it looks like it should have been there from the factory, ford even gives you mounting holes!

    I do have a question, disabling the active noise control microphone was done for what reason exactly?

    • @Oemaudioplus
      @Oemaudioplus  Год назад +1

      @svo_dct this only the case to the 4 cylinder. This was due to the feedback that the microphone created.

    Where does the amplifier get its remote on/off from? I am not seeing this in the installation video.
    EDIT::: OR does it switch on via signal from the rear speakers? That would make sense.

  • @mbo7613
    @mbo7613 10 месяцев назад

    Have you noticed low level static through the speakers when the stereo is off? Almost sounds like a computer fan. This is with noise cancellation disabled. It's particularly noticeable on the passenger side lower speaker. I originally disconnected the ANC MIC and still had the noise. I reconnected the MIC and disabled ANC in Forscan.

    • @TheFrogOfWar

      If you haven't already found the answer. I assume this is on a V6, if so, it's from the car pumping engine noise into the cabin.
      I'm not sure how to fix it but I know there is a solution, I happened to read about it on a mustang forum about subwoofers

    • @anthonyrobinson4732
      @anthonyrobinson4732 3 года назад +2

      I just installed this in my gt Premium. It's very easy as there is no vehicle modification that you need to make everything just plugs right in, takes about an hour or 2. The hardest part is the bolts especially if you still have the massive stock mufflers. See my other comment about my install experience. One thing I didn't mention is that their support is excellent, I contacted them twice once when I had a shipping problem and once while installing the kit. I received same day email replies both times.
