I'm from Cavite, my best friend is from Iloilo, though not from the city itself. She's from the town of Sara. The treasure of Iloilo is its people. I've met so many Hiligaynons in my life and I have nothing to say but good things about them. They are kind, sweet, jolly and generous. Even those who are part of the middle and upper middle class are very humble and down to earth. Ilonggos are wonderful people. I'm praying for your development and I believe in the future you would be as economically developed as Manila.
Wow!! Thanks for sharing, Lifting, & promoting my Parents Hometown ❤❤❤ and also for keeping on, Inspiring others more power to your channel, just keep it up & enjoy 😊
I pray for the sustainable development of Iloilo. I hope it maintains its cleanliness and sustainability while achieving economic progress. I don't want it to become like other chaotic big cities that do not care about pedestrians and can't create decent public spaces. But I do hope they will realize the importance of these things over tall buildings and unorganized road systems. Anyway, thanks for the video! I have discovered a new route for my Esplanade walks. 😍
ang layo po ng Iloilo sa manila...d naman to labanan bat merong talo at panalo 😊 hehehe! basta try our best lg na maging livable and clean ang City of Love, bayanihan lg at respeto sa bawat isa panalo na 🫰😊
I enjoyed watching as the whole video was shot in a very good weather. But it was spoiled by the eye sore @ 18:44. The steel frameworks intended for Billboard must be remove above the roof of River Queen Hotel!
Watching this video from Canada, I find it informative and exhilarating at the same time. The Esplanade is so beautiful, but who conceptualized it? LET's give credit where credit is due. There is no single monument to commemorate and give tribute to that one single icon whose brainchild is this singular achievement. What I see though is the monument of the late Senator Trenas along Esplanade 1. Through your videos, let's get to know more of this eminent person , as well as his great achievements as a leader, and his efforts in making sure that we enjoy what we are now enjoying through his great vision and foresight in pulling through one of the greatest achievements ever as I see this video unfold.
It begins after the construction of trenas blvd, a new diversion rd. Along the river to ease the traffic. But the people always using the road for morning and afternoon activities like jogging and sightseeing.. So the people requested to to turn into a park that somethingno vehicles can enter to secure the safety of people using the area.. Thru the effort of local goverment and one ilonggo senator who funded the project. and now both sides of the river has esplanades.
The Esplanade was designed by Paulo Alcazaren, the same designer of the Singapore Quay. This linear park has to largely thank Franklin Drilon for its funding. I noticed how clean it was once, and even brushed my finger on the pavement bricks. No dirt.

Vacant lots along side esplanade is the best site for condo's and parks. I hope they can build some too. Great video by the way.

it started with former Mayor Jed Mabilog and Senator Frank Drilon
