oooooo
Dude could have a RS3 with the cost of those mods
Lmao definitely not. RS3 comes 2018 or newer and they're priced around 45-55k depending the miles. My A3 was only 17k and have about 13k done to it after my BIG turbo upgrade and I'll be as fast as a stage 1-2 RS3. If money wasn't an issue then I would have went with the RS3 obviously lol
@@errolfuertes916 30k can get you a RS3 no prob. Banks ?
@@colbyhall1989 I didn't have 30k to put down on a car. I only had 7k and financed the other 10k. My credit wasn't the best either. No way in hell I was getting approved for even an S3 which is what I originally wanted lol.
No. You really couldn't I bought mine used for like $53,000 and did like $15,000 mods and run like 10.3s when he's running 11.7s that's a huge cost for not much improvement, he could buy two of them for one Rs3 that's that fast.
@@Gray-dq5hq sure. If that's the power band you like then good on ya.
So basically you built your own s3
Lmao why would anyone dump this much money into an A3? This car will be time a bomb with a big turbo.
Same potential as an S3...can comfortably push around 500whp stock block. 600+ on built motor
@@LoXHumaN the EA888 in the S3 is very different to the GTI equivalent A3 engine....
Completely different head, valves, exhaust cam... forged pistons, forged connecting rods... completely different crank case and main bearing case.
Also completely different injectors, HPFP, radiators, intercooler etc....
The EA888 in the golf R and S3 is a far far better base for mods then the A3/GTI engine.
@@LoXHumaN Exactly my point. I currently own a 2019 RS3 and had an 2018 S3 before it. Even the RS3 is living on borrowed time @ stage 2. Also, considering a brand new RS3 can be purchased for less then $60k with all the best options, why would anyone throw this much $ into even an S3, let alone an A3? It makes no sense, since it'll cost an exponentially more just to bring the car to same level as a stock RS3 or even S3.
@@LoXHumaN And if you honestly think even an RS3 can be "comfortably pushed" to 500whp on a stock block, you're a fool. For every person that's done it and been successful, there are just as many who have blown their motors. It's common knowledge in the community that the maximum safe threshold is stage 1+. And at that level, you gain essentially nothing. Peanuts at the top end vs. what you can do with a dedicated sports car originating from the factory with a fully forged motor.
@@troymuni6120 you must have had a shit tuner, I know plenty of locals here in SoCal who weren’t pushing 500+ no issues for over a year. Most of them moved on to a new platform or ended up building their block and going for more power. It’s easily possible
My a3 is faster no cap
No its not lol. Don't even try and troll bro.
@@errolfuertes916 nah fr
@@man8bugsbunny1 well I can guarantee you're stage 2 A3 is not faster because I was .02 away from the record for the A3. Also if you're talking about in general definitely not because my car is over 600hp (built motor) now lol
Is the a3 in the video we’re commenting on your a3?
@@errolfuertes916 as the a3 sits in the video yes my a3 is faster. I’m glad you put more work into it but I’m just going based off the vid
what is the suspension setup ?
