RIP Ray, I see many have their Ronnie blinkers on, not even a mention of how well trump played. He's going to take some stopping again this season, also I'm pretty sure all the players knew Ray and felt the same way.

Quite unexpected result. I don't like one sided matches like that one, would prefer a close match like yesterday, but still glad that Judd finally found his game and beat Ronnie after 5 consecutive losses. But Ronnie looks chewed up today. Painful to see. I've also just heard Ray Reardon passed away this morning. Maybe it had an effect on Ronnie.

I would not be surprised if Ronnie was passed the news of Ray Reardon's death last night, before the official announcement during this match's break - due to his connection with the family over the years - and he decided to play today out of respect to his former coach, but just couldn't get into it.
He's openly admitted that he doesn't want to play the game anymore, he's picking and choosing events - only played the World Championship in X because a sponsor paid him a lot of cash to do it - I think Ray's death will tip him over the edge and he'll retire now. Just stick to the exhibitions and wildcard tournament offers, move on from the tour Ronnie - for the sake of your mental health, and your legacy.

Now that O'Sullivan is older there not scared of him and finally playing well when they play him.
Weird take. He won 5 tournaments, including 2 triple crowns, was in one final and one semi final last season, one of his best seasons ever. But, sure, draw your conclusions based on one match.

Ronnie looked superb in the quarters so I think Reardon's death had a significant impact on this match. Ronnie will be back fighting for titles very soon though.

Witam. Coś Janku w bojowym nastroju jesteś. Reardon 20 lat temu pomógł Ronniemu wygrać drugi WSC. Byli w przyjaźni i stałym kontakcie. Judd wygrał, grał dobrze, ale wydaje mi się, że niedożywiony shaun murphy wygra, wiedząc, że Trump jest mocno podekscytowany taką wygraną.

Kto wygra? Akurat w tym przypadku dla mnie kwestia drugorzędna. Najważniejsze, by finał stał na odpowiednim poziomie i by była dramaturgia czyli to, co lubimy.
