1st time seeing your show. Im really enjoying it. I have Nick Bosa at DL. He has been on and off. I picked up Van Ginkle who is a LB but listed as DL. How do you feel about guaranteed tackles vs potential sacks.
Thanks for checking us out, Brandon! Van Ginkel is an edge rusher, not an off ball LB, so we'd go Bosa over him in that slot. Bosa is one of those guys we're never sitting so long as he's healthy.
I know it's not really IDP question, but I'm in a dilemma. Started 0-3 in my main league and after some failed experiments + dropping Vikings D just before week 1, and hesitating on picking them back before week 2 (because Panthers were horrid and I wasn't buying it), ended up with Raiders, who got ruined by injuries last week. Now I have an option to add Ravens defense, so I wonder is it worth burning some FAAB and if so, how much? I know they are not off to a great start, but the schedule was kinda rough for them to begin with, so I wonder can they turn things around and regain the status of one of top defenses rest of the way. Out of remaining ones on FA, there's Broncos as pretty much only one I eye, but they also lost Singleton recently. Eagles, Chargers, Falcons, Jaguars, rest are all bottom 10 & pretty bad defenses. I wouldn't make a big hustle, but our league also has 2 IDP slots, so D/ST gets extra value for sacks, INT's etc. For example, Vikings are just under 25 PPG, which is wild. We wouldn't burn FAAB on defenses. Just stream it week to week and target the units playing the worst (e.g. most turnover prone) offenses. Thanks for checking out the show!
really good chat about ...offensive schemes enhancing or impairing tackle opportunities....i remember wondeing why grabbing the LB that would face a King Henry led Titans didnt end up with 50 tackles on the night hahaha. Same for Saquon Barkley. is there a way we can chart actionable info like that to help make our lineups?
Hey guys! In a start 2 DL’s dynasty league, would you start Kayvon Thibdeaux or newly acquired Nick Herbig at the DL2 spot with Alex highsmith injury?! Any comments are appreciated! Obviously haven’t been happy with Kayvons production so far this year but don’t know exactly how much Herbig is going to play this week with it being the first week without Highsmith!
