Maybe you are right. In some or I would say, in many instances, what you said may be true.
But that's not always true.
After a prolonged relationship (may be sweet mostly, or at times sour/bitter) of 8 years, and thereafter Happily Married for more than 12 years now (which means 8+12=20 years of togetherness).
So far our lives go on, we tend to grow up and so does happen with our relationship as well.
But, unlike this lovely story, it's not always need to be a PERFECT MATCH.
In fact, in my limited understanding and experience of Love and Life, I do believe that we don't need to strive towards perfection, rather understanding each other (in all aspects of our existence), even without having the need to utter a single word to each other is more important than what we claim or expect LOVE to be.
Anyways, I am neither a Love Guru nor a kind of Expert in any of these, however, what I expressed here (though may sound a bit Filmy/Philosophical/Bookish) are quite raw and first-hand encounters and life experience.
