Was watching this while I pedaled on my stationery bike; I kept pedaling as long as the podcast lasted. Thank goodness it was only 30 minutes! I was smiling and unaware of the passage of time. Although I am unable to attend one of your retreats, I can create one for myself in my home. I turn off my phone and give myself uninterrupted time to paint and play. My art and my attitude towards it has changed so much since I took CVP this past spring. I really am letting go of giving a damn - at least not letting others dictate my happiness, my feeling of fulfillment. All the best, Nicholas! Kathe, St. Augustine, Florida
Again another wonderful expressive and heartfelt podcast. I am going to listen to it again tomorrow. I had a difficult day emotionally feeling lost. This raised me up and i was almost in tears at the end. I would love to one day afford one of your retreats….and i can guarantee i would cry…and i hope for the better. Thanks Nick!
Thank you for sharing these nuggets from the retreat Nick. I love that it’s about connecting with your soul. That’s what I’m trying to do in my art journey. I will definitely look to join a future retreat.
I’ve watched this one twice, Nick…. 2nd time, I pretended I was on this retreat, so was more listening, than watching. You have this knack of allowing artists a freedom, which I love! Thank you A2L ❤️
Thanks Nick Your heart really shows. You're an inspiration I'm on the path to allowing my heart to show and plan to carry your message through my own practice and facilitate workshops and maybe retreats in the future. My emphasis is about how empowering freedom of expression enables self esteem and confidence in youth looking for guidance on theor own journeys. Thank you for showing the way 🙏💞
The best things I ever made were in grief. I don’t know why.I love the comment about intentions, permission to not HAVE to follow the path always taken, to nit have to do what everyone always does.Choose what you want IN and what you want OUT. Remove what isn’t congruent with you and what you are wanting to create.
I’m listening.still trying to feel grounded .Art is my way of letting go and feeling grounded at the same time. A big thank you for sharing this video. It has given me a lot to think about and look more into what makes me happy and energizes me to keep learning and growing.
Making art from a place of lightheartedness. Nicholas gives this as an example when he paints along with his students at a retreat. It is the same energy, mood, vibes, we experience painting together in the Art2life online studio.😉🎨🎶
Nice, I enjoy your videos, maybe some day I can afford to come meet you at one of your retreats. It’s been a long time since I was in Playa de Carmen , Mexico. That sounds wonderful about now.
Beautiful and amazing! i’ve been chasing this art thing all my life and only now when I’m about to retire from teaching as it become so very clear as to what it is I’m doing. I’m big believer and following ones intuition and believe it is the soul leading the way to our higher self. Thanks again.!

I'm putting those words up on a wall in my art studio
