I agree "making it" is more of a mental thing where you set realistic goals and achieve them. Its more about being content with what you achieved in your life rather than what you actually achieved. Someone who came from nothing and is now living in a house can consider they made it whereas someone who came from wealth and living in a mansion can not consider they made it.
In my 20's I enjoyed working hard and devoting my energy to my career. In my 30's I took time to reflect on my time and notice that I ignored my family and passion. I decided to return to school and focus on my family. It was a hard transition because I felt worthless which I struggle with mentally. But I'm lucky to have a wife who always was able to help me see the positive and showed me that what I'm working my not be as satisfying before (working) but it will progress us later in life.
I loved this topic! Now I'm searching all my favorite YT's to see if they've made video about this topic. I think its so important for everyone, especially ppl in such a public space, to at least have this conversation once!
AYYYY YOOO now I feel like Ryan is really worth 20mil +.... you guys realized rightt he does odd jobs here and there? not because he has to, but he loves to. making music that ended up in SportsCentre, dancing and teaches kids too. not to mention editing and making content for JK.
Making it subjective and as Joe said, the goal post changes. As an E1 in the military, to me making it was doing my 20 and retiring. Unfortunately a back injury kinda made me want to leave the service. After getting over my PTSD enough to being a contributing member of society I realized I wasn't able to work for people very quickly so I started a business. As your revenue and net profit grow, your goals do to. You go from wanting to hit 100K profits to 200K, now my goal is 500K. But even more so recently I have been having the idea of just selling everything off and retiring somewhere in Latin America and living off my disability and whatever I sell everything for.
When I was younger (in my college days) I thought making it was going grocery shopping without mentally calculating the total cost. Now, making it would be paying off my student loans and mortgage.
At one point in my life I felt like I discovered an "infinite gold/money trick" I had alot of money, more than I can spend in a life time. I got greedy and lost it all. But before I lost it all, I remember feeling like I didn't respect my money and I felt super duper empty and alone. I remember thinking "now what?" So I gave away money to alot of random strangers... and that brought me back to life My Point is; Money can only do soo much... its up to you what you do once you get to your destination. More importantly I think I should have learned more about myself, and my strengths. Maybe then, just maybe I'll be responsible enough to hold my money and let it keep growing
Most is not really, "Making it".. With high ass Inflation, the cost of living, food prices, gas prices, all that shit.. Most are likely just getting thru..
"If your happy with how you lived" wow kuya Ryan niice I like that alot... that's really what it comes down to at the end of the day... like ask yourself sometimes did i have a good, week, month, year? And why... any patterns?
Having it made is if there wasn't a divide between rich or poor, everyone can enjoy the fruits and luxury of whatever there is to desire. Otherwise, it would be pointless to have money hold the standard for living
I feel like a made it when i have the freedom to do what i want. Like just take random vactions with my wife and not have to be worried about bills and having to be at work.
Joe..... you beautiful soul... I agree with you my friend. It really is about the simple things, like health, well being, and state of mind And if you add other great things to that like a stable good paying job , beautiful, loving and caring wife or husband it's gonna be Awesome 2.0 baby!
I feel like I can only consider that I "made it" once I can wealthy enough where I can help my family members financially without struggling myself, also while having a plan or knowledge to make more money easily
Making it for me is basic as hell, not worrying about any bills. Never again have to worry about bills. Is that even making it? Idk. Should I think bigger? Mine are truly just basic, for my kids and grandkids to not worry about money. My answer probably sucks but there it is.
This is a really great video. I fucked up really really early in life. Got pregnant young, married young, just set myself up to struggle from jump. What the hell was I thinking?
Joe talking bout the hedonistic lifestyle not bringing happiness. Sounds like a Muslim perspective mashallah. They should really bring on a real practicing Muslim like maybe the Warner or sheikh uthman Ibn farooq
Jks newcast is too smart, some may even say enlightened. You guys are the best at loosing cuz you understand the game. That's why now it appears you guys know when to loose, and how to deal with it in a positive way. Then go in for the big scoop winner winner chcken dinner. Or know the methods to getting your goals on track step by step(I think) You guys are like the power rangers to me. You can't break down. Look at Bart for example, this mad man is a well oiled hussle machine since day 1 debut lol. Maybe even before that, look at him... his the healthiest one there haha. And the gayest..!
Much respect to Bart and Joe and to each and every new cast of JK. I love you guys, and normally I wouldn't mention this but yeah. Watching the new casts of Jk News helped get out of a depressed state. JK News made me laugh and cry. Most of all i felt less lonely cuz I can relate to alot of the things everyone is saying. And it's so funny and Raw. And not everyone can pull that off and make it work. Your chemistry is great, It's really refreshing watching JK News So thank you Bart, Joe, Ryan, Steve, Anthony and Nick. Sincerely Also by power rangers I meant like; you guys are in the megazoids. And guys combined together to make the ultimate well oiled timeless-comedy machine

In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. The last is much the worst. -Oscar Wilde
Ryan is spot on! I don't need to be rich, just happy. Also, don't worry about bills, lol.
I agree with all the gentlemen - having that "freedom" from money, to me, is making it.
Yesssssss
I loved this topic! Now I'm searching all my favorite YT's to see if they've made video about this topic. I think its so important for everyone, especially ppl in such a public space, to at least have this conversation once!
Making it to me is when my parents don’t have to work anymore.
Damn that is a big feat bro. I hope you achieve that one day.
AYYYY YOOO now I feel like Ryan is really worth 20mil +.... you guys realized rightt he does odd jobs here and there? not because he has to, but he loves to. making music that ended up in SportsCentre, dancing and teaches kids too. not to mention editing and making content for JK.

Damn, Ryan is worth $20 mil????
Y'all... Dreams have no end.
I love the tumbnail hahahaha

making it means having at least 3 million dollars in cash. bcuz 1 million is nothing nowadays with inflation.
At one point in my life I felt like I discovered an "infinite gold/money trick"
I had alot of money, more than I can spend in a life time. I got greedy and lost it all.

I think I know what you mean Joe..... its about the journey to your goal...
Someone tell me I'm sane lol
To me, making it is working a job I enjoy that pays well enough. Have a house for my family that my kids can grow up in, and just being happy.
If I told myself what I'll be making 10 years ago. My younger self would say I made it. But always want more and bigger
This is such a cute episode
Just enjoying them Home Runs whenever all 6 of y’all speaks Wisdom Stories.
What does ‘Making it’ feels like?
When you can Show Love to everyone and it doesn’t if they show love back.
That doesn’t matter if they doesn’t show love back but you just Showing Love to everyone even if you doesn’t get anything in return
I know I’ve made it when I didn’t get 2nd place like Kinjaz
Life is crazy man 😭😅
I feel like I can only consider that I "made it" once I can wealthy enough where I can help my family members financially without struggling myself, also while having a plan or knowledge to make more money easily
