What would happen if you just wielded a 12 or 15 inch square 1/8th plate to the vertical long bar 90 degrees to the exhaust so it hits it and dissipates before it can reach the equipment? Might keep it cool enough so it wont effect things? or even make it curved so it aimed down. The video was hilarious and entertaining thanks for it.
That could totally work, we didn't even realize it until we started the SXS on that day haha. WE are keeping the mount and making some changes, so I'll probably add a plate like that to send the exhaust heat to the outside rather than hitting the gear!
