So the 'thing' that Roland saw during the Smoke war might be similar in some way to the Prescripts. Maybe in the future Roland would regain his memory of what it is.
@@hellatze In Binah’s last story (Roland’s realisation), when Roland was just a greenhorn participating in the Smoke War, Salvador pointed something out about the city to Roland (and presumably, it may have been the cause of the ‘smoke’). Roland was horrified, and puked a bit in his mask. Salvador also mentioned that their memories of the encounter will be blurred/erased a bit after the War. That’s probably why Roland vaguely remembers the thing, and why he doesn’t really want to remember.
This is some really interesting lore. And awwwww~ Angela is really softening up to Roland. I love their interactions. So much character development for Angela.
Yan's new job is to become our typewriter in the litterature floor of hod writing his books with his mad skills with them giant fist for the distorted yan to write his story in a book :)
Yo, don't y'all think that Argalia's trying to fuck with the City's heartbeat with his orchestra? You know, the whole vibration/reverberation thing. [warning: maybe spoilers ahead] I will Bite My Ass if the Black Silence "silences" the City
I wouldnt say that it was easy...... Yan was almost killed many times, killed his friends, delivered suffering and incountable deaths while having a caring hearth, when he made a struggle to break free he was just being used again, and after all of this being broke by knowing that no matter what he does, how hard he fight, he will never be free. I would say that yan endured a lot before distorting, and propably he distorted more because of his good hearth, much like the guilty that chessed felt in his first life.
Distortions didn't happen before L Corp's Light washed over the city in an incomplete way, but it's been causing massive damage to it in that little time. Most distortions thankfully aren't on the same threat level as the Pianist, Blood Red Night or The Crying Children. Besides, in order to Distort, you need to have your entire worldview or all of your goals crushed in front of you to the point where you simply and utterly *snap.* Takes effort imo.
Yan is dead, this is so sad.
Alexa, play Children of The City.

And yay!
Collective Unconsciousness!
It’s a really fascinating topic, and I’m really happy to see it whenever it’s brought up.
String theocracy makes much more sense now lol
A lot of the phrases from the song are really starting to make sense. They’re really getting into the details.
Foreshadowing/Songwriting: A+++
Gods of city

Elaborate ?

@@hellatze Yuiskyi summarized it pretty well.
Did the Seed of Light hijack and contaminate the Will of the City that the Prescripts come from as well? This made me felt like it.

@@KoGuRea I was also surprised. It seems like it was decided from the beginning that yan became a distorted.
I was waiting for this all day

Can someone translate me typewriter boy name, since Watson clearly has a bad weekends in last updates.
I don't know who it is.
First of all,it’s intentional. Second,it’s just gibberish but the letters used in it can form Distorted Yan.
In Korean, it has no meaning too, but if you put those Korean words into Korean/English keyboard and switch to English
It means: 'Distorted Yan'
New voices have been added to some of the star of the city scenes, any chance you could upload them?
