- Glass littered the ground at the intersection of Dallas and Louisiana Streets in downtown Houston Friday morning after a powerful storm blew through the city.
The boss of that one floor with windows still: "We've still got windows! Get to work!"
Some building occupants can have stronger windows installed. A 6-story building I worked in years ago used to have people shoot into the building so all the windows on our floors were replaced with special, stronger windows (bullet proof? maybe).

I've heard tornados described as sounding like a train, but never a train horn. The huge one I went through was just an extremely loud rumble that just kept getting louder. Though, weather is often surprising. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this wind sounded like a train horn!

How is it dangerous to walk across the glass on the street? Or driving over it being dangerous? Maybe if a person is barefoot, or maybe if the glass is super light and can be disturbed to the point it starts floating in the air and someone might breathe it in.
