Cry about it. Origins Odessey and Valhalla was the only reason I got into Assasins creed rather than the boring parkour and stealth. A game is about control. Control these 3 titles have much more than the older games
AC never had good stealth. Max Payne had better stealth. Sounds ridiculous? So is people who don't play ac not knowing anything about the games acting like experts. I’ve been playing assassins creed since the first game and odyssey is by far my favorite of all the games. The “assassins” aren’t all what we think assassins are, they are simply just a group of people just like how the templars are a group of people. The past three mythological games finally brought out the story of assassins creed to the main point, the climax. The other assassins we’ve seen in past games have barely scratched the surface. The games are about the isu and preventing the Templar’s from getting their power. It’s not about stabbing people for fun😂 y’all are missing the point
Except if you break the lore doing so, of course we are going to trash and it's justified. To be honest, I don't have a problem with this game. My problem is with everything about Odyssey because it has all of the negative corrupt and greedy business practices of Ubisoft. And you are all appropriating and enabling it.

100% of people saying ac isn't ac haven't even played the first one or the ezio games. At least not since 2011. Ac Valhalla is really important to the continuity. ive loved every minute of the last 3 assassins creed games. i love the open world, the combat, the graphics, story (not so much parkour) BUT its strayed FARRR from the OG assassins creed games. hell it hasnt felt the same since revelations. i loved that assassins vs templars orientated game. ac3 was actually a great story just connor was boring. ac4 was great but strayed, then unity was a mess, syndicate a joke etc. can we stop gettinf gimmicks and the devs unrelenting urge to NOT dip into the creed like 1 - revelations? i think the best course of action right now is an assassins creed 1 remake. not a remaster! a total remake with a big open world that connects the old levels that sticks strictly to altair and any side missions and quests as well as telling the revelations stories. by bringing the modern aspects with the classic theme this would put everyone into ASSASSINS CREED mode including the devs by constricting them to a non fantasy creed mindset, it could allow them to get back on track after 11 years. i do think a feudal japan ac game would most certainly help the game. but god damn it focus on the creed to its fullest
To be fair, AC2 is the only game that is absolutely flawless. Brotherhood and Revelations were short. AC3 was a mess, AC4 was great but it was about pirates. Unity and Syndicate were a joke. Rogue was pretty good and delivered everything I wanted from AC3, but at that point it was 'too little, too late'. I enjoyed Origins almost as much as AC4 but Odyssey and Valhalla were a step backwards. I doubt we're gonna get anything that was as great as AC2. Here's my definitive ranking of all the games: AC2 Origins AC4 Brotherhood AC3 AC1 Rogue Revelations Valhalla Odyssey Unity Syndicate
ISU can not be the poor excuse to be turning AC series into this magic nonsense wizard world I am seeing here. Get back to making real AC games Ubisoft!
Problem is my friend that previous AC games did not sell well as the new ones, as a company you look for more revenue and apparently more people are enjoying these games, so it is not that simple to go back if you have the formula to win more money and have better sales, that would be stupid for the company.

It’s sad that this is ac now all because of the higher ups wow
AC: Infinity will probably change this and bring back old elements that made AC fun. Also I am excited for the leaked AC:Rift starring Basim, which is planned for this fall.

These days they're essentially fuel for fantasy-tinged hallucination segments that would fit right in with other mythology-themed RPGs...
i mean it looks good if it wasnt called AC. i dunno call me old but i liked AC because i could go back in time see a city that was a real place hundreds of years ago and get an idea of what it was like. Also what happened to stealth in this series? where is the assassin in assassins creed gone. I do hope the future stories they tell have a mix of different styles to keep people with new and old tastes happy.
its been like that since origins, get over it already...
no, u can't tell us old fans to get over it, if it wasn't our support these games would never have existed and now that they're getting the cash from everywhere they don't care about us, people don't buy these games cause they're assassins creed, it's cause they are offering people to explore and enjoy a world or a mythology they like, i honestly wouldn't be surprised if they go for like Japan sometime because they'll sure get alot of anime fans buying it. @@Hezoyam10 copium?
@alessandro You would know.
Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla all are great games that I enjoyed for the most part ( except sailing all around ancient Greece for hours ) but title is only thing that is in common with AC series. I miss the times when fighting was the secondary option, you would base your gameplay more on stealth and parkour. Instead of all those skills, spartan kicks, magical weapons etc. Back when we had only few gadgets like smoke bombs, hooks or just hidden blades. Keep those RPG type games series on, because they are really fun and interesting but bring us - the OG Assasins, real Asassin's Creed game. What's the point in AC game if I'm not able to assasinate a Templar and after that loose chase by simply sitting down on a bench.
Cry about it. Origins Odessey and Valhalla was the only reason I got into Assasins creed rather than the boring parkour and stealth. A game is about control. Control these 3 titles have much more than the older games
@@TheTruth-13 😅👶
I enjoyed the sailing wouldn't mind 1 based on ancient civilization in the Americas across the Atlantic
AC never had good stealth. Max Payne had better stealth. Sounds ridiculous? So is people who don't play ac not knowing anything about the games acting like experts. I still remember when everyone was dunking on the games for being an annual cookie-cutter open world cash grab that added nothing new in gameplay. Origins changes the formula and people complained about what they've literally asked for ever since.

New witcher 69 looks good reminds me of assassin creed
How big is the open world going to be? Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s map is my favorite one so far just because of the attention to detail, and because of how alive it feels. There’s also a lot of stuff to do on it.
Cap
Stop lying to urself
@@desuzx I wasn’t lying to myself. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has my favorite game map, from the mountains, to the Ancient Greek landmarks. It looks so cheery looking in comparison to Valhalla which is gloomy, dreary and kind of quiet in comparison.

AC Valhalla should be an entirely new game. We can all agree based on where they took the franchise. It’s better off to be called. Rise of Valhalla or something without adding AC at the beginning of the title.
whoaa.. Rise of Valhalla sounds great!
Dang is this the new Skyrim DLC?
Legends remembering the old assassin's creed franchise from 1 to origins
Ezio, Altair, Bayek, Edward, Desmond and to an extent Connor are the only ones that mattered.
Not sure if I'm ready to come back to valhalla. I kinda had enough with the game. Tho the graphics here looks very good
great it is now no more assassin's creed but looks more like cheaper version of god of war 4
It makes me so angry that such a good game as Assassin Creed had to end like this. from my side the developers just screwed up the game has nothing to do with Assassin Creed anymore too much fantasy in the game. I regret spending money on a game like this. never again
same..
i mean assassins creed has always been fantasy. historical fantasy. but this just looks more like high fantasy. felt like i was going to see elves or something pop out lmao
@@herobxon9709 AC has always been a fantasy within VR. AC4's story commercialised the technology. These fantasy DLC's are drug trips within abstergo VR. Valhalla was probably the most boring AC i've played, I can't imagine how much more boring it would have been without these drug trips into mythology. Nice gameplay
Say what you want, But I love these new Assassins Creed. I feel really immersed in these worlds. But I prefer the historical ones, such as Odyssey or Origins or Valhalla. Next one could be in Roman Empire.
Supposed to be in India

Love that Ironforge lookalike city at 3:10
I might buy this because I love the nordic landscapce. I'm just curious to the criticism. Most of it seems to be people saying it's not like AC used to be, and that is understandable. But if you look at it as a stand alone viking game, how does it hold up?
I played Valhalla mainly because I really love Vikings, and of course its not 'traditional' assassin's creed game, so it was not for everyone, but if you love brutal kills and norse culture, you will love it for sure
I loved the combat in Valhalla, on Very Hard it is pretty satisfying to not get a single damage. I did not play any previous AC game, and dont care about what people say. You do you, man.
@@sisajzvezdo1711 Why is it you like Vikings as a lot of people say this and dot even know what the Vikings did the game try so hard to mask the history but Vikings were ruthless killing and raping machines they basically tried wiping out the whole of the UK as they did not like them or the way they live so they killed and burn down anything in there way. The only way the UK thought back was to get the Vikings killing each other so what is it you find interesting for me it is the religion and Odin and all that but what the real Vikings did was horrible stuff that the game does not show only shows them as nice people with trust witch was wrong.
Great
100% of people saying ac isn't ac haven't even played the first one or the ezio games. At least not since 2011. Ac Valhalla is really important to the continuity. The retcons that have occured in the series I GUARANTEE that not a single person in the comment section knows what any of them are because they're not paying attention to anything at all. They base their views off of youtubers and circlejerk about it. The game is decent and monotonous like literally every open world game ever.
Why can't they make a new IP about Norse Mythology? I'd be more interested in that, than another AC game that isn't about Assassins lol
It's not worth the price of 60 bucks when I paid over 180 for the ultimate edition ud think they'd offer the expansion for free to those who bought the most expensive
I bought the most expensive too, but it only includes the content of the 2 firts dlcs, idk why would they give us this new dlc free, when its has never said is going to be inclouded

Ubisoft needs to innovate now. Same old game mechanics and nothing new.
4:35 all those npc hair kept flip flopping lol. I see the cape while the hood is down still shrivels up and doesn't act like it has physics attached to it.
ive loved every minute of the last 3 assassins creed games. i love the open world, the combat, the graphics, story (not so much parkour) BUT its strayed FARRR from the OG assassins creed games.
hell it hasnt felt the same since revelations. i loved that assassins vs templars orientated game. ac3 was actually a great story just connor was boring. ac4 was great but strayed, then unity was a mess, syndicate a joke etc.
can we stop gettinf gimmicks and the devs unrelenting urge to NOT dip into the creed like 1 - revelations?
i think the best course of action right now is an assassins creed 1 remake. not a remaster! a total remake with a big open world that connects the old levels that sticks strictly to altair and any side missions and quests as well as telling the revelations stories.
by bringing the modern aspects with the classic theme this would
put everyone into ASSASSINS CREED mode including the devs by constricting them to a non fantasy creed mindset, it could allow them to get back on track after 11 years.
i do think a feudal japan ac game would most certainly help the game. but god damn it focus on the creed to its fullest
Here's my definitive ranking of all the games:
AC2
Origins
AC4
Brotherhood
AC3
AC1
Rogue
Revelations
Valhalla
Odyssey
Unity
Syndicate
