Idk how much you know about Android but you should try a custom launcher (if not already) I recommend CPL. 😁 But it's kinda cool to see Apple has a few more customization options now tho, it just seems like to much work for a phone in 2020 that's why I stick with Android.
@@leojrobison2102 Definitely, customization on android can lead you down a rabbit hole of so many possibilities. I use Lean launcher, edge lighting, edge screen launcher and a mix of icon packs. I couldn't switch to apple(too restricted) but I can appreciate their devices for what they are & offer.

Samsung still rip you off a little bit but if you think about it Samsung phones are cheaper in price and Samsung is a much MUCH bigger company and most of their revenue from there "Samsung Electronics" dept. I just wish Apple users were smarter when it comes to tech becuase if they were than... They would all have Galaxy's or prob OnePlus's.

Androids and iPhone compliment each other and as consumers we benefit from the features and breakthroughs made on both sides. While I agree the industry leaders definitely over charge by being on Android I can use budget phones ($150-$300) and load it with features via various apps. I have a BLU Vivo XI+, it's built almost exactly like an iPhone and has face ID, so some of the elements of iPhone I liked I have but paired with the freedom of android OS.
Android: Changes :Navigation Bar, Notification Bar,Quick Settings,Theme (On some Brandings Customizations), Launcher, Icons appearance,Screen Density,Volume menu,and many things I don't remember.
I know, I just went to Iphone after being on Android for years. The only thing I miss is screen widgets. Drives me crazy not having a big clock on my main screen.
@Vexority rooting and jailbreaking are similar. Doing either means the company you bought the phone from will (basically) disown it. Go to an Apple or Samsung store, they won't fix your phone for you, since you have basically tampered with it. But to be fair, Android gives you much more options as a stock OS compared to iOS
One way I think would make this design even better is by removing the notification badges. I found out that it just looks much more sleek. Thank you for this video it has made my phone look really cool!
Nice set up. I do 1st page solo “settings” app. Next pages are just 4 folders each page. So all folders end up at the top. Perks: use any wall paper. And will see fully. Very minimal.
With the dummy icons you know you can use shortcuts and add them to the home screen as that actually leads to the application and you can customise the look of each of those icons
my UI was so well organised, i knew where everything was and was almost a work of art i guess, it was organised in the same way that Casey Neistat’s studio was organised; yes it’s organised, but also there’s an abundance of unused stuff making it appear cluttered hating change but look at minimalism in awe, i’ve bitten in, and completely obliterated my hone screen, it’s all clean and only the bare minimum of what i need is on the front screen and i have a second screen with everything else organised into big folders

I'm sure someone mentioned this but if you turn on content restrictions under screen time, you can disable a bunch of standard iOS apps too. I got rid of safari and now have no social media, no browsing and I literally use the phone as a phone - since no one texts or calls me, I basically just have it I dont know why now lol
By enabling reduce transparency on devices without iOS, you can use the mysterious wallpaper as well and it will hide the dock. I did it on my iPhone 6 which is not supported on iOS 13
Michael Coleman I had this issue as well. Go to iempty.com and follow the directions on their website. I think it works when you don’t use the link vs going straight to their website. I did it this way and it worked! I hope this helps!

Well it’s different for some devices so it’s a little complicated haha If you have a device without a home button press and hold the power button and the volume up button. I switched from a Samsung after 6 years and now i'm here with a 11 Pro Max. Drives me crazy to even simply move the icons around. Basically everything shifts up to fill up the icon slot from top to down, left to right, right. Why? Many good phones nowadays are huge, including my Pro Max and it's insane how user unfriendly it is that i have to fill up the top 3/4 rows with icon that i don't/seldom use, just so i can have the bottom 2 rows filled with frequently used app. And doing all this, just to be able to reach them easily with my thumb every single time i open up my phone. Don't get me wrong, i love this phone, but in no way is my 11 Pro Max and iPad Pro user friendly anymore, now that Samsung One UI has truely shown the world how user friendly, and how easy it is to do a minimal set up, much easier as compared to an iPhone (cite this video).

Don’t use the iempty tool, bcs if you touch the app in the homescreen it will reset and you’ll have to do the same process all over again, best thing is to use the shortcut application and make a black shortcut. You can search for a tutorial online and it’s pretty easy and most importantly doest disappear when you touch it.
