i still believe that FKA twigs is one of the most talented and intelligent artist living in the moment. this is her first approach to go for something a little more mainstream. maybe you’ll be blown away with her previous work which is more electronic/experimental . Her visuals are insane. Maybe you can react to Pendulum and Cellophane music videos to get into her and I’m so excited to see your reactions on them!
it’s pronounced F-K-A 💀 this single is such a banger and is waay diff from twigs’ previous projects! y’all should def check her out esp her debut album which leans more towards this sound but is more experimental!
Twigs is one of the most talented and underrated artists out there, everything she releases is a masterpiece. I recommend you guys watch more of her like Two Weeks, Cellophane, Video Girl, Holy Terrain, etc
EFF KAY AYE Twigs lol, water me is such a beautiful masterpiece that really put her on in my opinion, and you guys analyze the words to songs so well I think you’d really like it.
F K A twigs, but you can just call her twigs which she prefers. she was being sued by this nobody group called the twigs, so she put FKA in front which she says could mean forever known as. BUT THANKS FOR REACTING TO HER!! been a big fan of hers for almost a decade and been waiting for her to make it big! all her previous albums are masterpieces but are an acquired taste for sure. you guys should react to her Cellophane music video or even Measure of a Man which is for the King's Man movie! ❤️
7:09 ^ I knew exactly what Brain is talkin about. And i had this same nostalgic feeling over the exact same things. The beat, the sound, and the way she sings the chorus took me back to 2011-2014 era where EDM was super commercial on mainstream radio. The closest song I can even compare this to was Primadonna by Marina and The Diamonds. I could be trippin, or i could be on point, but this was definitely a song that took me back to that era. Hope one of y’all see this and give me some input/found out what it took him back to 💯🔥🤙
Tears in the club is definitely different from her previous work. But it’s so good, it’s been on repeat ever since. You guys should react to Cellophane by FKA twigs. That video deserves to be in the Louvre, a masterpiece. The video is very meaningful, but at first glance you might not understand it. Or you guys can listen to sad day which was produced by Benny blanco and Skrillex. You don’t get to hear the song complete in the video. It’s more like a movie sequel after the song type shii. So you’ll have to listen to the song first, but it’s very beautiful and experimental. I’ve been watching you guys for quite a while now. You never disappoint with your reactions. Looking forward to more FKA Twigs and Nicki Minaj and more
Fka twigs is soo original so unique , its so artistic really an artist i love listening to. and her voice is good... her songs that i liked the most thousand eyes ,her vocals there are crazy ,cellophane, sad day, home with u and more, she is very creative, and she has been around for a long time iT sucks that she wasnt nominated for her previous album. it was great shes underrated to me
Finally 😆😆😆 I’ve been requesting FKA Twigs since I began watching you guys. Definitely recommended more of FKA Twigs you should start with Cellophane. Love you guys! Fave react channel you guys are so insightful 😁
This reminded me of the hyper futurism in rnb in the 90s and early 2000s busta rhymes Janet tlc this reminds me of all of those videos from that time it’s so nostalgic
7:09 its that 90s Hip-Hop look with the Aviator Goggles! In this case it's Missy Elliot's I Can't Stand The Rain, short hair and Aviators Sb, did he say "F*cka Twigs"?!?!😆
when I watched this all I could think was that I felt the same way I felt growing up watching Gaga. she was giving us a pop queen moment and I hope this album gets her there because she is clearly talented af.
When he says it reminds him of the early 2000’s and Brandy/Monica I get it cuz when I first heard the song it gave off a sort of Aaliyah-ish alternative pop sound similar to the experimental songs she made between 2000-01 and to know that FKA Twigs is hugely inspired by her. Aaliyah, Brandy and Monica all came from the same prime generation of r&b but Aaliyah was unarguably the most innovative
FKA Twigs is a genius. 'Video Girl' is one of her most underrated songs ever... It's the whole audio-visual expierience (...as every single piece of her art tbh but...). Moving to the core. :)
Definitely do more FKA Twigs, she's a fascinating artist. 'Two Weeks' is probably her biggest song, but 'Cellophane' is a masterpiece.
Yes
Yes
For sure. two weeks is still underrated
YES please do Cellophane reaction!!
@@Thelifeswork Hey, they did it. Check their videos

I can't imagine how someone would react hearing this track as the first FKA Twigs track and then going back listening to her older discography
This sounds pretty different from her last album
FKA = formerly known as
Twigs was her nickname because her joints while dancing where cracking like twigs. 😄

Apparently FKA doesn’t stand for formerly known as
Yesss more FKA Twigs reactions. Maybe 'Pendulum'?
CRYING AT HOW HE PRONOUNCED FKA 😭😭
