I remember my first time seeing him play. It was the 2008 NCAA and they was playing against Derrick Rose and the Memphis Tigers. I was following Derrick all year and I remember Derrick literally dunking on Abrams on a 2 on 1 fast break
A D1 coach first job is to win games. It's difficult to develop player's for the next level while still winning enough games to keep your job. Abrams played with better PGs his college career unfortunately.
Agree. You can't emphasize each players development, over team success. You the coach need to get wins for your employer, the school. Unicorns and rainbows are nice in storytelling.
This one of my favorite players at UT , he was short and never really was a passer(Even at McNeil) so I knew he probably wouldn’t make the NBA but he one of my favorite Longhorns of all time
It’s still early in his career (he’s 25), but how Mustapha Heron ended up in New Zealand has many twists and turns. Would make for a fantastic video, even if he (hopefully) gets a shot in the league. Have fun researching 😄
Lol big facts they always add on a couple inches to these small guards i seen Trey young recently i was like this guy is not 6 1 im 511 and was looking down at him🤣
@GreeneGuyTV I think the added weight so quickly also hindered him. He seemed uncomfortable at times for few years. A shame Knicks didn't keep him few years ago
Aj Abrams was one of my favorite college players ever but unfortunately he was more of a combo guard at 5'11. He really didn't have any point guard skills either.
Jason Fraser Mc Donald's all American starter from Amityville beat LeBron and dominated Stoudimire the year he went pro should have went straight to NBA injuries stunted his growth
Its because bro probably forgot that he's a midget in NBA terms and played like he's a big 2 guard..i dont remember dude ever passing more than twice in college
One of the most enjoyable shooters I've ever seen though, gotta admit. His release was so quick and he got his shot off on anyone. Beautiful shooter.
Yi Jianlian next
@Stuntedgrowth chucking threes 😂
Gotta do levance fields next
I remember hearing how his Dad would hold up a broom in front of AJ when he would shoot to help him with his arc
The shorts was so big. I miss these days.

Please do Jaylen Hands high school high flyer that used to go at it with Colin Sexton
One of my favorite college players growing up. Definitely appreciate this one.
I Watched him once in high school and just quick shot was his game and he always got to the free throw line too
Him, durant and Augustin that one year was crazy. I was in high school watching them.

$$$$$
Damn, dude's shorts were extra, extra large
If DJ Abrams was 6’5 he would be in the NBA
I been waiting on this one for the LONGEST SG

There’s no way you can’t tell me the Bulls couldn’t have used a shooter like him
AJ is a good man and excellent shooter. In his defense, he had a hip issue that may have limited his ability to be an aggressive defender.
I literally just thought like “where tf my “stunted growth” videos been at?? & you uploaded this 37 mins ago 🥶🥶 right on time 🏀🏀🏀
Do a Stunted Growth on Dermarr Johnson or Jonathan Bender
You should Do XAVIER HENRY NEXT
O gotta do Damion James from Texas!!
Do THON MAKER bro. He had the physical tools to be a success story but just didn't cut it.
He lied about his age and was ass there you go 🤣
@@Henny2times I see you've named Stunt Numbers 1 and 2 🤣
You should do J’covan Brown one day.
Do duron Carter. Cris Carter son next!!!! Or justin blackmon.? Kofi Cockburn? Herb pope? Josh Rosen?
Gotta do pj hairston
Ike Diogu next
AJ Abrams is the fastest college player I've ever seen in person
It’s still early in his career (he’s 25), but how Mustapha Heron ended up in New Zealand has many twists and turns. Would make for a fantastic video, even if he (hopefully) gets a shot in the league. Have fun researching 😄
Dude was a beast, easily couldve had a long nba career if not for the negative narratives
That's what hurted Anderson Hunt. Should have stayed at Vegas and transitioned to the point
Lol big facts they always add on a couple inches to these small guards i seen Trey young recently i was like this guy is not 6 1 im 511 and was looking down at him🤣
@@lilcurt195 🤣they got that man listed at 6 1 I was like where in 👠 😆😆
Have you done Trey Burke yet? I thought he was gonna be lethal in the league
Is he in league still
💯 I always liked his game. He played pretty will for the Knicks, albeit briefly.
If the jazz didn’t choose to develop exum over him then I think he would’ve had a great career. He was nice.
@GreeneGuyTV I think the added weight so quickly also hindered him. He seemed uncomfortable at times for few years. A shame Knicks didn't keep him few years ago
Jacob pullen (u might have done him) Dennis Clemente , Scotty hopson, dexter Pittman ,
He's done Jacob Pullen. I think he did Clemente and Hopson too.
do bill Wilton
do one on xavier mays from flordia state
Assasin
I forgot about AJ Abrams.
Derrick Rose put him to shame in NCAA Tournament
Aj Abrams was one of my favorite college players ever but unfortunately he was more of a combo guard at 5'11. He really didn't have any point guard skills either.
He did great for his god given abilities. He just wasn't an nba player.
Can u do marquis nowell bro is the same height at me and he could’ve been 2nd round pick in the recent nba draft
Jason Fraser Mc Donald's all American starter from Amityville beat LeBron and dominated Stoudimire the year he went pro should have went straight to NBA injuries stunted his growth
Sean May? Scottie Hopson? Rodney Rogers?
Sean may has a video already
He did Rogers already: ruclips.net/video/ABpw4wExmu0/видео.html
Here's May's video: ruclips.net/video/EYgxLM0qBts/видео.html
He did Rodney Rogers
he didnt get drafted though?
Its because bro probably forgot that he's a midget in NBA terms and played like he's a big 2 guard..i dont remember dude ever passing more than twice in college
He was a damn good shooter
I been waiting for this one ☝️ @stunthgrowth
