I can relate to what u taught in this lesson with one of the youtube harmonium chord lesson.Where it says that to simplify the chord selection process, e.g.for C# scale you can play:
C# Major chord (C#-F-G#)(Sa chord) (Sa-Ga-Pa) if sustaining on Sa or Ga (C# or F).
F# Major chord (F#-G#-A#) ( ma chord) (m-Pa-Dha), if sustaining on ma or Dha (F# or A#)
G# Major chord (G#-B-D# )(Pa Chord) (Pa-Ni-Re), if sustaining on Pa or Ni or Re (G# or B# or D#).
Again, this is what my interpretation is and what I understood. If it is wrong than it is on me.
Yes it is correct 👍 That's what priority chords do ! If you sustain on a particular note and that note comes in priority chord then chances of that chord is very high
