It’s a service which a lot of people don’t know it exists with some interesting advantages compared to the regular FortiTokens. One of them being the automated onboarding and assignment of MFA or FortiTokens to LDAP (Active Directory) users. By setting up this synchronization process and configuring additional features to further secure the multi-factor authentication process, you can create an MFA solution which is both easy to manage and allows for more granularity than the standard 2FA or OTP options on FortiGate.
