I agree! For once the mother-in-law saw through her son’s deception and didn’t blindly support her terrible son! I’m happy that they (the mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter) all had a loving relationship after the divorce! ✌🏼💖

the wife should have taken more from the cheating thief of a husband, he should still pay towards his daughters care and he should compensate the wife for the work she performed , that should have been dealt with first and then split what was left, she was too nice in giving him half seeing as the business never would have been able to get off the ground without her financial input

Yes these guys always want a wife to stay pretty even after having kids why ?? I wouldn't give him half after what he did to me and mother was nice at the end I think cause her husband did it to her yes my husband after having kids would say your weighting more so I would be on a diet again after every kid I had yes he looked the same 😮 well at least she got her share❤❤

NONE of it's easy, yet a good marriage and family are treasures money can't buy. Sadly, many think money and career are first priority in life… even in relationships. (My mother and wife passed away ±two years apart; my mom from cancer, my wife unexpectedly at 49 yrs from a heart attack.) ¹ To "stay pretty" does NOT mean to be gorgeous or like a model. However, giving some time to care for appearance and fitness matters too. (It's about keeping the right balance/ perspective on things.) UNless there are serious health reasons which would prevent it, both spouses should try to be attractive for each other and make time for their relationship. A business doesn't run itself, yet neither does a marriage. Rosie you're right, Hannah shouldn't have rewarded Gilbert's double betrayal (their marriage and business/life assets) by giving him half AFTER he'd left her with nothing. Yet, Hannah's fairness AND kindness toward her ex says volumes about >the caliber of person that »»she«« is.
I love this story. But more than anything, I loved the ending. Hannah won everything, but true to her nature, she divided it evenly with her ex. He ended up with all that he deserved, nothing. BUT, as you continue to write amazing stories, they've continued to be paired with meaningless photos. You still haven't taken the advice I gave you several times. It's so easy to use the internet or take your own pictures and insert them appropriately into your stories. Take scenic pictures or a picture of a couple embrassing, sharing a meal in a restaurant, a mother holding her child, or playing in a park. There are endless ideas and subject matters. As it is, I listen to your story with my eyes closed. It would be more interesting with proper pictures. Please try. Thankyou.
