Just as I was asking myself, "What was the role of former president Buhari in all of these?" You concluded the video with a clip of Buhari saying no one should invite him to any court to explain anything or give any evidence.
That my friend Jude is legendary and what we refer to as a drop mic.
Thanks for the well documented video.

Wow! This documentary is mind blowing and boggling. Your level of expertise in political narration is top notch. The haste at which money is being syphoned by the people in power or leadership is extremely disturbing. I don’t live in Nigeria but I am deeply saddened and heartbroken just watching this well researched and detailed documentary. This documentary should be aired on national television. I’m sadly shaking my head because I still remember how my dad would go to the bank to withdraw his hard earned money after waiting for hours, he would be given N10k because of shortage of currency. How the former President Bihari allowed this suicide policy to play out while his people suffered and starved is beyond me. Christmas in 2022 was PURE suffering for so many people. You have money in the bank but you can’t withdraw it, how wicked. How do you trick people to turn in their money in exchange for a new currency that wasn’t available to them? Everyone involved in this hideous crime with Godwin Emefiele needs to face justice, and this current president needs to be awakened to the reality to see that the people he claims to serve are dying of starvation. The suffering in Nigeria is PALPABLE.
Mr. Jude Bella, I applaud you for this documentary.

As one who is from a family that people who are part of the establishment, i can tell you for free no one working for the president can steal more than the president. No one working for a governor can steal more than the governor. No minister can do anything outrageous without the consent of the president. No commissioner can do anything outrageous without the consent of the governor. So when we prosecute deizani and overlook Jonathan, we are just being unserious. When we prosecute emeifeli and overlook Buhari, we are just being unserious. I have family members who are deeply part of establishment. I witnessed firsthand how the rot goes down. I just cry knowing how naive Nigerians are. No matter how much Nigerians think they now know how the country runs, they actually only know a drop in the ocean. It's so rotten.

You seem not to know much about the political system Nigeria has. The Nigerian political system is one adopted from the United States and thus, within the constitution of this adopted political system, it is written that the President of the country (Nigeria) is IMMUNE from any prosecution for whatever decisions, (be it positive or, negative - corruption) that he took while serving as President in office.

@@phemgab7532 The only way the President of Nigeria can be prosecuted in a court of law, is to remove the immunity clause in the constitution. It protects the President from being prosecuted for whatever actions he DID while in office. And that can only be done by the NA legislative house. It will take an act of God, if that will ever be done.

Emefiele allowed the northern politicians renowned for embezzlement to use his head. His greed was his undoing. He could have resisted the lure and temptation to preserve his hard-earned previous good image in the banking sector. He could not have committed this financial heist alone without the connivance of Buhari's political henchmen and proxies. They smartly used and dumped him. That is how big a fool and goon he was, inspite of his education.

That can only happen via a coup. Let me tell you for a fact, coup can never happen again in Nigeria, if you know and understand the security architecture IBB put in place after 1990 ORKAR COUP. That is what in force till today.
We had someone like Traore in 1975 and the leader then was Muritala Muhammed. What happened next? He was killed thru another coup of February 13, 1976.
In 1983, Gen. Buhari came via another military coup and started War Against Indiscipline. Many business men hoarding goods for gain were terribly dealt with. Drug pushers were killed via firing squad and the fear of Cocaine engulf Nigeria. But what happened again, he was kicked out in 1985.
IBB came smiling and Nigerians welcome him. But, something happened that destroyed our economy till today. IBB introduced Structural Adjustment Program (SAP), a package from the World Bank and IMF. This was the first time of World bank and IMF entering Nigeria in 1986. Student allowance over Nigeria rioted against SAP. But IBB insisted and bought World Bank and IMF proposal. That is what killed our economy till date. All our manufacturing industries collapsed and we started importing everything to Nigeria. Nigerians were going to University to study Sciences and Engineering course but no industry to work. So sad.
So, Military take over is impossible in Nigeria having gone too far into democracy. The only way to change things is to change our LAWS & CONSTITUTION. That is when you use laws to take over Nigeria from the hands of Owners and Landlords of Nigeria who have kidnapped and hijacked Nigeria from r their selfish personal and regional interests backed and supported by foreign interest.
When Nigeria is taken away from those people, especially the region fighting tooth and nail to stop the TAX REFORM BILLS, Nigeria will breathe well and we will surely recover from the past blunder.
That's the only way to go.
What Traore of Burkina Faso is fighting is a DIRECT WAR against France. But what Nigeria is fighting is INDIRECT WAR against the West (US, EU, UK, CA,NZ & AUS) through the West Stooges in Nigeria which is the North. The day Nigeria understand the complication and complexity of what befell Nigeria, that is when our Nigeria will know peace and our aggression will be right directed.
Anyway, we are getting there gradually. It is democracy that will delay it but we will get there. If it were to be military, oh boy we for don treat their fuckup thru one serious military officer. But that is not possible again. So perish the thought. It will never happen. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW.

Emefiele is the worst CBN Governor in the history of Nigeria. His closeness to Buhari deluded him into thinking he was all powerful. The Naira redesign policy led to the destruction of many small businesses. I don't have any sympathy for the man.

Just small businesses? Do you know how many lives that were lost and properties that were destroyed..?

@YankeeGplay-q7c I only pointed to that particular subset just to emphasize the huge negative impact on the economy. Of course every Nigerian not part of the elite class was severely affected. Lives were lost, dreams were shattered. The man is evil.

WHO will believe that Emefiele would be able to implement the redesign of the naira ALONE! Without the president's approval with all the push backs. Are people insane???. This is someone the president can just fire with a letter. Since when did the CBN Governor have the power to do something that even the senate president can't, without any oversight or approval??? And NO ONE is talking about Why the naira redesigning initiative was adopted in the first place. Everybody has just suddenly forgotten the trucks of bribes thethat were shared to buy votes and bribe officials. And how the naira change forced them to use dollars instead of Naira to buy the elections. I'm not defending any crime Emefiele might have committed but please, let's not try to paint him as the mastermind. He comes nowhere near. He's just the fall guy...

Unlike other countries where the stolen money stays in the country. The issue with Nigeria is the stolen money is taken out of the country and hidden in cupboards. Our money isn't circulating:-( Colonisers are enjoying our money more than our own people.

Did Muhamadu Buhari actually say nobody should ever call him to give evidence otherwise that person will be in trouble? This shows that for 8 years, the ship of state was just floating without a captain. No surprise that Nigeria is where it today. Power without responsibility =DISASTER!

I'm a northerner and a hard core supporter of Buhari before his second coming. But i candidly withdrew my support for him when i noticed the man was not ready to rebuild Nigeria from the shenanigans of the 16 years of PDP. Buhari relinquished his responsibilities to his family and in laws and immediately hijacked Emefiele and the rest is history. Is rather unfortunate for what the man is passing through and he overestimated his influence thinking that Buhari cabal would shield him from the wrath of Tinubu.

Folks, POLITICAL CORRUPTION is the one problem facing Africa, in particular, and the world at at large.
In Africa, it is believed that over 50% of the economic, financial, and social problems originate from the CORRUPTION of Politicians, Leaders, and Rulers. Africa's development, improvement, and progress will NOT happen so long as POLITICAL CORRUPTION is tolerated and engaged in.
