I’m a believer that EVERY multiplayer game needs an open beta. It’s the only way you get people that are interested to try your game out and voice their opinions
I played the closed beta.. I will not be buying it, the graphics and artstyle are too cartoon-like.. and the actual gameplay is very Bland, you don't really have much control over the flight, it feels like you're on Rails the entire time.. I played on PC, but It feels like it was designed for the Nintendo Switch, then ported over.
That's a shame. I was already turned off by how cartoony the graphics are especially after how much more realistic Hogwarts Legacy was. But that's just visuals; if the gameplay is also not fun then this game is just gonna fail
This game doesn't need an open beta, it needs an open trash can. Trash it all and make an online expansion for Hogwarts Legacy. Quidditch Champions looks absolutely terrible.
Why hold this game back from its true raw potential from being a tiny fragment of a much larger adventure game when you can truly double down on it here?

I played the play test, I can't really say anything other than the game play was amazing.
An open beta would be fantastic. 💯
People are gonna continue to be skeptical about this game until we get our hands on it so an open beta is needed

Why didn’t just use this for Hogwarts legacy
Because there was already a standalone Quidditch game back in the day, and it makes sense to tap into a different genre/market for this game.
