Visiting Esteli Nicaragua 🇳🇮

- Today is my day in Esteli and today I spent the morning manically filming as much as possible. I did hours of walking the city today and filmed episodes on the 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th all today. It was exhausting. It was my only time in the city in daylight. I had a terrible morning and lost three hours to meetings that went very badly and am feeling very "blue" about things. It was a rough morning.
This afternoon it was time to return to Leon via the chicken bus. I managed to film a few seconds of the terminal at San Isidro. Sadly when I was switching buses I accidentally dropped my Jack Wolfskin cap on my first bus!

It is, much milder for sure. You should try Leon where we live. We think of Managua as the cool, mild city! Every time we visit we are amazed by how mild it is compared to Leon, lol.

In general yes. There are exceptions but smoking is allowed pretty broadly. Especially as most restaurants are open air.

PEople are still wearing masks there?
Just like anywhere lots of people choose to wear them. There's no fear of discrimination for wearing them here if you choose to and it's not political. It's nothing like the US where wearing or not wearing one is political. Here grocery stores tend to require them and churches. You see them here because it's a Catholic event.
