We can't fully contextualise the damage of addiction when the addict's people aren't included in the narrative. Bc it's those same loved ones who are needed to, and will, be there on the road to recovery.

I don't think we need the third season if there will be a fourth season. If season 3 will be the series finale, then give it to us so we can say goodbye to the characters. But, if they want us to wait 3 more years for the 4th season, cancel the whole thing right now and release us.

This is all I ever say 😂😂😂 the only reason season 1 was a decent offering is because the actors for the characters who don't get represented enough in an interesting way, are the ones that gave us a layered story. Jules' special episode is excellent and it is purely because of Hunter Schafer's writing & insight. Kat wasn't just a fat best friend bc Barbie was listened to & included in the writing.

Given that Jacob Elordi already felt suffocated working for the Kissing Booth films, now that he has experienced working for bigger directors and more successful A-list productions, I don't think he even needs Euphoria anymore. I hope he goes on to do better films. Zendaya is already pretty set with Dune and MCU. Hunter has some good upcoming projects, Sydney has been doing good too, idk about Maddie and Lexi actors tho.
I want another season just to tell us what happened with that money Rue owes!!! And I would like to see how they handle Angus’ death. I don’t care about the rest.
If Levinson wants to ruin the final season with his writing and not hire writers, just cancel the show now and let these actors stay booked and busy. I can't imagine working on dune or saltburn with legends to then come back to this mess.

i'm totally agree with u Chu🥲 even the show was not perfect, it was still entertraining, and we, the audiences already feel connected to these characters and their stories. but one thing that i didn't like in ss2 is Rue's story line, it's like repeated itself from ss1, get sad - do drug - get caught - feel sorry for herself - talk about her dad for audiences to feel sorry for her. the show make it really hard for me to like, or rooting for her. and why the story about sleeping with your best friend's ex-boyfriend is the main focus of the season, i was so confused. Makeup still ate, costumes = ate, acting = ate, production = ate, soundtrack = ate. if they make ss3 i definitely gonna watch it, it's might be better for the creator that they take the gap and spend more time in develop for season 3.

I'll absolutely partake in Euphoria Sundays if & when they happen, but I *do not* need a season 3. I do not trust Sam Levinson to tell a coherent story or do any justice for a character other than the one he relates to. He's awful at writing from a perspective that isn't his own; that's why Rue is the most fleshed out and developed character on that show. Why he decided to stop collaborating with the actors, I'll never understand, bc that's what made s1 work so much better. Barbie and Hunter were able to give their perspective, which prevented the story from falling into stereotypes. Also, if we're getting season 3, I need a proper send-off for Fezco and/or Ashtray. I wanna know who their moms in particular are, what their government names are, I wanna feel the other characters' grief over them throughout the whole season (not just a one and done type of thing), I want Fez's presence to be felt throughout in the way Ned Stark was still *felt* even 5/6/7 seasons later on Game of Thrones. We didn't see that man again after the s1 finale, but all roads lead to him, y'know. Everything can be related back to him, that's how much of an impact he made.
I want a 3rd season to wrap the story up. If the 5 year time jump is true then is doesn't matter if everyone looks "older". It's not like they're going to look wildly different in 2 years.
in all honest its too iconic to cancel like and its weird me saying this cuz I really dont care what happens to it but I just think of all the fun moments like live reactions, stan twt gifs like thats what makes this show so fun for me. Its so unpredictable so thats where my love for euphoria is.

i hate to give sam any credit but his excuse for the weird set up of season 2 could b something he pushed hard season one but didnt mention at all this season which is that rue is an unreliable narrator. season one she was at school and was a background character in her own life. which is why she spent a lot of time telling us about other people in her life and keeping the spotlight off herself. till jules of course. after jules came into the picture it was more abt her. thats why season 2 u could say is just pain cause she was vulnerable for once and that blew up in her face. we spent a lot of time on cassie who ended up being her excuse and her way out. this was a drunk rant idk where else im going w this but im sure an excuse could b thought up for everyone else no excuse for kat he was for sure being a weirdo w that storyline. & I hate that mckay wasnt written in. that plot could have hit so well if written by a black man who has some grace for topics like male sexual assault, homophobia, hyper masculinity & the boys don't cry bs in the black community specifically. but hell for the male community in general. he could have done so much with that character.
