I’m so sorry Ivan , but well done for buying the static , they are wonderful. Put your name down for an allotment, you know what you are going to be great encouragement to people . All the best 😊
Hi Ivan, everything happens for a reason, stay positive. Your van looks amazing we have an old 1998 van in Cumbria. You will love van life. hope everything goes smoothly to you and your partner xx
Thanks for your inspiring vlogs, I think they'll help many new gardeners as well as ol' hands. Hope you can put this towards adding space for a greenhouse at the van site. Facebook marketplace for a second hand greenhouse...?
Ivan, you have been and will continue to be an inspiration to me and many others. I know you will not give up your love of growing and making us richer in food. X
This is exactly what happened to me and my daughter. 10 years with a private landlord who decided to sell. I am disabled so the council did re house me and my daughter but i had to fight all the way for it. The system is so messed up. Good luck with your move. I think you made the right choice.
G'day Ivan, at 75 I shall be watching you with a very keen eye and taking on your ideas. I too am moving on from a 4-bed home on 1/4 acre to a ground floor property with a hankie size patch of lawn. Container planting has been on my mind as I move my 'stuff' so it'll be really interesting to see how you go plus what does and doesn't work, as the saying goes 'when life gives you lemons make lemonade'. Good luck and stay positive Jenny
What I like about Ivan is he never gives up , he always finds a way round things and he shows people he won’t be beaten. Well done Ivan I’m glad you’re still doing your videos from the caravan and even doing videos about general life and day to day life . Keep them coming Ivan , Christine
Hi Ivan, we had to move from a lovely house with a large garden, used to grow all our own veg and kept pigs and chickens in south Lincolnshire on the marsh about a mile from the wash. All we could afford was a 1 bedroom first floor flat with only a communal garden. We put our names down for an allotment and after two years got one. It’s eight miles away but it’s still our space and we can grow again. I have a little grow house which I’ve been allowed to put in the garden so I can sow in the flat and bring on in the grow house. Hoping I will be allowed to put a few pots in the same area so really interested to see how your containers do. I wish you all the luck in the world, I know how much it hurts to leave a lovely garden but we bounced back and I’m sure you will too. Love and blessings.
I felt really sad at the end thinking about what you’re being forced to leave behind. But now is the start of your new exciting life and we all know you’re going to smash it . Well done my friend
Hi Ivan. So sorry to hear what has happened. I am sure we are all still going to enjoy and learn from your new content, just as much as before. It's going to be so helpful to people who have only a small gardens or balcony. Hope you get an allotment soon.
Good luck with your move, Ivan. I'm sure once you're settled in your static, you will find many innovative ways to grow your veggies. Looking forward to following you on your new adventure.
Im so excited to be a part of your new chapter in life Ivan, I love your channel and I also have limited space to grow and its all containers here so I look forward to watching your transition. One door closes, another opens, sometimes things are just meant to be no matter how shocking they seem. Best wishes, and see you again when you arrive in Lincolnshire 😊
FFS totally empathic with you - we rent but luckily by a big private estate ( some tenants have been born and died in theses houses). They wanted to increase the rent by £70 last month (negotiated to £40 increase) for next 2 years but like you Ivan, went down the council route - no bloody chance! We too looked at the static caravan but bamboozled with permanent 12 month tenancy - such a mind field 😱 Banks and mortgage lenders really ought to take into consideration how long someone has paid into renting somewhere without arrears as security that they are good security for the future. Feel so sorry for young people nowadays - you have either got to be very rich or very poor - nothing for the hard working middle people 😢
The banks are owned by Blackrock/Vanguard,/Statestreet who fund all the NGO'S who control our Government and make policies, They plan to make it impossible to afford a house and they are buying up all the land and property to build their 15 minute Cities Or Ghettos, When Liebour get in who are also WEF controlled just like the current parasites in power there will be 15 million migrants imported into the country by 2030 to boost our economy and they'll tell us it will help the housing crisis.
Been through the same ourselves with a good old section 21 a couple of years ago You've done the right thing taking control. We did and it's great no longer worrying about landlords! I also put my name down for an allotment. Waited a while, but now been allocated one, so I agree with others that you might want to get your name down. Wishing you the very best and good luck to anyone else who is having to rent privately.
Have been experimenting with making compost in 10, 20 and 40 litre lidded buckets/bins. Just using household scraps, papet, some leaves and coffee grounds. It works!
So sorry to hear that. We put ads in about 30 facebook groups and found a reasonably price house with a garden the size of several alotments with a private landlord. The house isn't perfect and needs a lot of work but we're grateful we have a place for now. Took us 6 months though so did the same as you, loads of container gardening. Good luck with your move ❤
Ivan ive just found your chsnnel. What a devastating time youve had and what a crap way to be told to move. You are so inspirational and youve got a definite follow from me. Love love love your wonderful northern accent and grounded, calm way of communicating. Youre such a dude! Im going to look at your other videos snd keep learning. See you soon ajd hope you and yours sre keeping your heads held high!!!
A little gift for a housewarming present. Sorry you've had to go through all this stress. The UK housing situation is a joke. I love your channel and I'm excited to see what you do with your new growing space ❤
Sorry to hear you have to move, but good luck with the new site. I'm also moving (voluntarily) and am juggling pots and timing seedlings ready for the shift. I'm really looking forward to your future videos. I'm sure you'll show some great and ingenious ideas for terrific container growing in a small space. Best of luck. Cheers.
Really sorry to hear your plight. What an inspiration you are to people who feel that they have no hope. I bet you’ll miss the glasshouse but you are making the best of it. Good luck to you!
Good luck Ivan, your positivity will help you through this. Watch your videos every time and you've tought me lots, your atte tion to detail is very helpful.
Oh Ivan. I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s totally unfair. I’m glad you’ve sorted out somewhere you can live and be happy. I’m sure all your subscribers will be with me to say we are all with you on your new journey. The very best of luck and I look forward to seeing your new container garden .
I'm so proud of your positivity and quick thinking Ivan. There will be allotments too in the area as an alternative. Love watching your container journey. Natalie
So sorry to hear that you have to move out, it is a wonderful place to grow your own without an allotment. Make sure that you sell the greenhouses and get a few quid for them. A lot of landlords around here are selling up too and evicting tenants, Are you allowed to stay in the caravan all year through? A lot around here close for about 6 weeks. I wish you and the Mrs lots of luck and look forward to updates.
Good luck Ivan with your move and new challenge. I hope you soon feel at home in Lincolnshire. Your positivitiy is very contagious and I'm sure your ideas for a container garden will inspire and motivate many others who have less space. All the best!!
New subscriber here… such a shame you have to leave your beautiful Garden… Wishing you all the luck with your relocation and looking forward to your container garden journey! You will Prevail! This movement of landlords selling and having tenants move out is happening all over here in the U.S. as well. Glad you were able to find an acceptable solution for yourself…..wishing Godspeed
As ever Ivan you are a total inspiration, life gives you lemons-you really do make lemonade! Lets hope the good people of Lincolnshire embrace their newest inhabitants and that one just happens to have some spare land just big enough for a caravan and garden.
Hi Ivan we have lived in a park home for nearly 40years we have a garden in which we grow flowers but we also have an allotment for fruit and veg .Hope you enjoy your new home good luck

Oh I'm sorry hear about you having to move, I only had 6 weeks to move after only been there for 2 years. I cried all day on the day of move. Its been 5 years and I still feel it. But I kept busy and got to nesting again to make the new place home. Gardening is great for this. I really appreciate all you put up on youtube. When I had no garden, on the 1st floor, I was fortunate enough to have a small balcony. I filled it with lavender, strawberries, chives, nasturtiums and also had a blueberry bush. All containers. I love your positive attitude and taking control of the situation. Looking forward to see what you do in the new place.
Are you allowed to have a wall greenhouse or two? I have 4 little lean to coldframes that I bought cheaply from Aldi. They have 4 shelves, made in wood and glazed with polycarbonate. I’m a new subscriber. Wishing you much luck for your new adventure. I loved your small garden project so you already have all the skills. I look forward to seeing your progress. 😊
Hi Ivan. You had said you were going to be moving but didnt realise you were being forced in to it by your landlord. I hope everything works out in your new home. Im sure it will, you have such a positive attitude. A little greenhouse or cold frame would be handy for you if room or maybe you will be able to get a nearby allotment. I have done a small donation which i hope will help a little. All the very best. Trevor.
Thanks
So generous of you Thank you so much Serenity

Are you allowed to have a wall greenhouse or two? I have 4 little lean to coldframes that I bought cheaply from Aldi. They have 4 shelves, made in wood and glazed with polycarbonate. Im sure it will, you have such a positive attitude. A little greenhouse or cold frame would be handy for you if room or maybe you will be able to get a nearby allotment. I have done a small donation which i hope will help a little. All the very best. Trevor.
Thats very kind of you Thank you Trevor much appreciated
