Thank you so much! Now i’m really motivated~ my exams are in May 2018 and i’ll only have one IA left after next sunday, so I’m looking forward to really cracking down in December.
The man...The myth...The LEGEND! ITS COLE!!! Thank you for making these videos :) In preIB 10th rn...Real IB next year! I'm trying to stock up on as much info as possible!
Heyy! I'm in Pre-IB too. My IB classes start this August at UWC Maastricht/Mostar. I've heard IB is tough as heck so trying to get an idea about it in advance :D The subjects that I've settled on so far are Economics, English A and Environmantal Systems and societies as HL and a new language AB initio , Maths SL and an art subject as SL's. Wbu? Hows the preparations going? It's kinda freaking me out tbh :D
Laura Nauckhoff haha that sounds awesome! I am in no way as prepared as you are 😂 It's awesome that you've already started preparing, and I'm pretty sure you'll get decent marks. As for me, all I've managed to do is decide the subjects. The internet is all i have at this point since i come from northern Pakistan. And here, no schools offer the IB program so I don't have access to books either. But I'm trying to find as manu resources as i can online! Anyhow best of luck for the IB!
Hiya! :D Omg it is so awesome to talk to other peers at other IB schools, my school requires us to take HL english, and SL (spanish or french) and since im taking ap psychology right now, im very limited in the ib classes i could gain college credit from, thus leading me to this list!!! HL English, HL Bio, HL history SL spanish SL Art (or psychology if i dont pass the psychology exam but dude theres no way that is going to happen on my watch!) and then math studies or SL math, the sl math teacher at my school has a history of making it rough for students aiming to get all A's so i'm not sure im willing to take the risk! BUT IB RISKTAKER AM"I"RIGHT HAHA edit: OH! and my reason for choosing SL art is because it doesnt have a exam and im also taking a rigorous Chinese class online and wanting to be a linguist I wanted to give myself some room to breathe if i wanted to continue chinese :)
I started to get so confident until I remembered that my English Part 4 presentation is on Wednesday and my teacher is terrible so I had to do everything independently - 15% off my finals kill me
Hi !!!Thank you for the view, it was REALLY useful!!!I just have a question to ask. I've fallen really behind in Bio HL in IB1(I don't think I have accumulated a lot ).And I'm also a little behind in maths(I need to practise more-but I think I'll get there ).I'm so confused of what I should do during the summer.I only have 5 weeks of holidays.I want to study -but I also want to have refill my batteries for IB2.I don't know what to prioritise. If I cover the syllabus from IB1,I'll for sure fill more sure and confident in the beginning IB2 and I'll also do well in the exams we'll take in Autumn (to get the predicted grades). If on the other side, if I decide to finish everything from the coursework I'll feel relief and ready to start IB2 with do my H/W or Assignments and cover material in the weekends(and have this as a habit till the exams) but maybe I'll become more stressed about it = demotivation for studying .I won't also get so much help from the teachers(as my school has specific deadlines for the IA's and teachers won't give us help before that). The last IA is in Business and is due to February(which I think is too late).I could just work on my own and just follow the guide's instructions. But I think I should set a goal for the summer and focus only on one direction, rather than mix the work.If I do s,I think I'll feel insecure as I won't have complete any task properly! In my coursework I have : the EE (in Business), Bio IA(has already started), Maths IA ,Business IA ,Tok Essay,English Essay HL.Then I can set goals and a plan for IB2 regarding me cover everything + study the H/W. I really want to do well, be stress free and also enjoy it !!!! What do you think ? I know it's a lot to consider and that's I feel very stressed and uncertain !! I'd appreciate and love if you could give me some advice!!!! Thank you in advance !!!
Why didn't I know this earlier, now um stuck with incomplete IAS and studying for mocks and all: ( all thanks to procrastination, but life goes on its not the end :)
What if the teachers just want the whole first draft of the IA only? My teachers haven't verified any of my RQ, all they want is the final draft by the deadline. I don't even know if my RQ is good enough
I´m an Spanish student of the IB program currently on IB2, my final exams will be in May 2018. I am a little but stressed cause' I didn't used effectively the December break, aka, I haven't done anything. I almost have my EE final draft, bio, business, and maths IA, missing history and some written tasks of english and language. I just wanted to tell you that your videos are really useful and motivating. What do you recommend me, start studying as well as I finish coursework or finish coursework and then start studying? Thanks!!
im so happy to know that having bad teachers is a common pain for ib students not just my school lol
I feel you man
I agree omg they wait until later to tell you your mistakes
"sitting through unproductive classes with bad teachers" that's when I liked the video. And I laughed at how appropriate this vid came for me
1:15 with bad teachers (I totally agree xd)
Thank you so much! Now i’m really motivated~ my exams are in May 2018 and i’ll only have one IA left after next sunday, so I’m looking forward to really cracking down in December.
That's great man! I'm sure it will work out!

Im right with ya buddy on just deciding my subjects! Ive been staring at my options since the end of last school year!!
Cole is literally such a real fucking G. Like my guy graduated and is dedicating his time to help others
WELL THATS JUST GREAT ITS DECEMBER 16TH AND I'VE WASTED THE PAST MONTH BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT
Use the same principals from this time on - coursework first and then studying. It'll reap a lot of rewards long term.
I feel u bro :'(
I started to get so confident until I remembered that my English Part 4 presentation is on Wednesday and my teacher is terrible so I had to do everything independently - 15% off my finals kill me
IBsurvival + Reddit for help should get you some solid advice if you explain your situation well.

What do you think ?
I know it's a lot to consider and that's I feel very stressed and uncertain !!
I'd appreciate and love if you could give me some advice!!!!
Thank you in advance !!!
I think it's best to get some work done, because remember, whatever you finish now, is also time bought later on. Find a balance between the two.
Why didn't I know this earlier, now um stuck with incomplete IAS and studying for mocks and all: ( all thanks to procrastination, but life goes on its not the end :)
Use the same steps for the rest of the 6 months. 1) Coursework 2) Studying hope it works out!
Thanks so much .I’m from Ecuador and I’m having the exams in May 2018.You motivate me a lot.
Thank you! Nice to meet you!
Can you make a video about History in HL? Please I’m having problems with this subject

IB like Cole i thought I would get ahead... I guess 😂
Haha no worries man!
I'm spending December studying for mocks because my mocks are after winter break :(
It was the same in my school! Don't worry, as long as you use this break to the full, you're doing great!
OMG my December break is coming soon
Lol. We have mid term tidy
What if u didn't use your December holidays a productively?
Me lol
It is a great video it really helps me to understand those things.
Starting become your fan bro...
According to our school the teachers are just aiming for everyone to get the diploma, not exactly grades in the 40s
What if the teachers just want the whole first draft of the IA only? My teachers haven't verified any of my RQ, all they want is the final draft by the deadline. I don't even know if my RQ is good enough
Hey ! Can you make a video about ACT advice or If you have any source, can you send it to me! Thanksss !
I didn't take ACT and I wouldn't be a good source of advice. Sorry Anita.
34 to 41? brudda u already passing what do you mean?

Finish coursework and then start studying, for the same reasons in the video. Thank you so much!
Between IAs and EE. Which one I should finish first?
prioritize the EE before but make sure you focus equally on your IAs
A LIFESAVER
December break
