Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid , both born in 1976 and based in Göteborg, south¬west Sweden. They met when both 15 and are still, amazingly, working happily together, over 25 years later. CBL itself was formed in 1996, as an offshoot from other projects, but it soon became their focal point, culminating in their first release on ‘mp3.com’ in 1998. The duo signed with the celebrated Lyon¬ based ‘Ultimae’ label in 2002 and went independent in 2014 To date they have released six official, full length albums and is one of the biggest names in their genre.
CBL aim to combine earth and space in their music. Using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work, they like to represent both the positive and negative effects that this collaboration can lead to.
CBL are frequently present among the headliners of the biggest Psytrance festivals across Europe and have done many shows in Russia and even USA and Australia.

This song from my fellow Swedes is like a spiritual awakening if you lay down in the sun, close your eyes and blast it. Even better when high imo. Takes you to another dimension. Incredible how much emotions and feelings they can capture in this one song.

This track is enough to spark a civil rights revolution. This is humanities life anthem. I have listened to every genre of music known to man, and i can say with complete honesty and compassion that i have never heard anything as powerful, provocative and awe inspiring as this song right here. If you hear this and you don't "get it" then step on the other side of the line and prepare to go to war because you are not human.
In certain states its even jaw inspiring.

One of my best friends showed me this track one time. And I have to say its defo one to have on while playing Subnautica. Goes perfect while exploring 😅 not that there is anything wrong with Subnautica's soundtracks of course 💙
For some reason, the little kids I know (like my nephews) tend to move up and down with the rythm after 4:38 and giggle each time the sounds at 4:45 and 4:55 are repeated. It's quite curious.

plenty of compouds on which you might only sacrifice your rigidity. it's a problem that arises when you call something infinitely varied with only a singular term i get it, but you won't feel nowhere near like you're on a strong psychedelic just listening to a song, which is still amazing don't get me wrong. it's just that this statement is quite shortsighted
@@aesonone The thing is, while on shrooms or acid, I get too easily distracted to really enjoy the music I am listening to... A lot more is happening around me in that moment. :) I mean that it is much easier for me to deconstruct and really listen to the notes and tunes when I am not tripping.

@@MrBern91 There are many stages to a trip, just as there are stages in daily life. You can't and shouldn't be expected to listen and pay attention to music for all 6-8 hours of your trip. There will be, however, moments where putting on tracks like this and just laying down with your headphones on will be other-wordly. And every single last note in this song will carress your soul.
Sure there's big downsides to doing drugs, but that is utter bs. 100% you're not getting close to the kind of experiences you'll have doing shrooms, lsd, etc. by listening to a song. If you're claiming otherwise, you've either not done these drugs or you're lying.
