Rinse your water bottle every so often when refilling. Otherwise dirt might slowly accumulate and make your water taste moldy. Especially if you drink from it while eating.

@@Nettspend24 Yeah. All the legendary/Snorlax encounters are Ditto's so there's little point. Best to use it to guarantee your encounter.

The lack of lance counters in this hack are gonna make almost every e4 attempt difficult. Dragon type don't fuck around
These are the worst ways to lose. It feels like after a certain point, losing your nuzlocke hurts so much more because of the time it takes to get back.
Fun fact: If a enemy Pokémon used a recharge move like Giga Impact or Hyper Beam, it cannot ever be healed with an item while r recharging because the recharge isn’t overpowers the whole turn. Just like if a player used it.
Which is why Lance didn’t heal his Gyarados.

Iron Tail is so funny because it's like "Oh wow an early gen steel move with good power and a helpful secondary effect what could possibly go wrong" and then it's fucking 75 accuracy with dogshit distribution
In all seriousness, this was really cool, even if the run wasn't quite a W. This game's just super brutal all-around. Even after buying full restores, no PP restoring items outside of Leppa makes nerfed PP for setup and stronger attacks (ESPECIALLLY Psychic lmao) a huge problem for the E4. I guess at least one part of the gauntlets still carried through, even after getting access to Full Restores :P
That's a really unfortunate ending but I know you'll bounce back!

I really like the idea of getting battle-tower items by trading your catch from certain routes.
Shell Bell grinding on wild pokes seems a bit cheap, but not as cheap as losing a run to a 1/32 string of confusion/parahax.
It's not cheap because you are wasting pp in a gauntlet.
@@PonzuAnzhu Except spending pp on hp is just a cost, not a waste. And if you can spend a couple surf pp to get a sitrus berry, that seems like a bargain.

Pchal, do you ever pause your current nuzlocke and go to a non-nuzlocke play through to test stuff out? (Ex: to learn how AI works in different games, test out really niche interactions with abilities, etc.)? I have tried (not succeeded) in breath of the wild damageless and I would test stuff out all the time on other profiles, just wondering if you do that or you think it is breaking your rules.

this attempt was doomed by not bringing an arcanine counter. If thunder punch had ohkoed gyara, then maybe Jan could´ve gotten out with like one mon after heavy sacrifice. The other issue is that you are already sacking so much to Lance that your champ team can´t win.

@@BorealColdstone you can worry about later mons later :) I might be speaking out of my ass but if you think about it elekid beating blue's pidgeot and maybe chipping gyara later should be enough to be better options compared to what ended up happening. also the elixir, what was it even used for? the run was probably lost before starting the E4 though, lance's dragonite was just brutal with outrage. maybe seel has enough sp def to take 2 hits? it's a pity sneasel has such bad sp atk, if its atk and sp atk were swapped it would be THE counter to dnite and alakazam. but we live in a reality where sneasel sucks so for the time being I think you need to rely on seel or something to get past lance.
@@Astralevin Its a hard call to make in the moment since if he got a roll that was just even a tiny bit more favorable he would have probably rolled over this run. Yeah i think the Elixir was the real mistake, Rest pp on Mawile doesn't matter as much.

Lunatone looked pretty bad in this elite four run. Not sure if there was anything better though. Xatu wouldn't have done better (it's better vs bruno, but Bruno is the most free out of the elite four). I assume there is no ice beam or blizzard TM, if it is available Golduck could have been the play.
Regardless, the Elekid thunderpunch just barely missing the oneshot on the Gyarados and the Gyarados choosing the hyper beam was very unfortunate.
It was so close. Too bad Elekid was lost due to a hyper beam

Really dunno why pp is nerfed for some moves but not others like you get 10 earthquake pp but only 2 psychic pp?
Earthquake mons don’t sweep any bossfights. If Psychic was 10 PP the best Psychic type in the game would be Drowzee, and mons like Chimecho Lunatone Xatu and Girafarig would all be banned because they could sweep 2 elite 4 members. Psychic and Solarbeam proved to be extremely powerful moves that invalidated massive portions of the elite 4 and needed massive nerfs.
To be fair EQ did get nerfed to 5
