Something i dont think was mentioned is bloo sacking zard over lati which seemed questionable at the time. bloo is scared of a second dd from ttar, as azumarill doesnt kill with aquajet when its av, and +1 stone edge doesnt ohko azu. leftiez probably expected band, or didnt wanna risk edge miss.

Still hard to realize this metagame was 6 years ago, feels like yesterday to me. Gr8 vid as always. This game is also a good example of how overwhelming a bad matchup (zardY) can be in gen 6, making leftiez only realistic option be the hope of focus blast missing at one point (which isnt that bad of an option lel). Also Diggersby is super cool and seeing that guy in a video named "pokemon's greatest battles" is moving. Hope to see some more gen6 soon, keep up the good work !

Im at the start of video but immediately noticed if its charizard y with Fire move/solarbeam if third or 4th move is dragon pulse or hp ice charizard sweeps whole team.
zard-y never runs those moves though, roost is too important. garchomp falters to repeated attacks and it's much easier to remove the lati twins with pursuit.
What's the plan on turn 24? Why not go Gliscor when sun is up? Hydro damage is halved and if he doubled to TTar Gliscor still checls it (well it dropped to Ice Punch). Gaining 15% health back by Roosting with Zard seems like the inferior play?
@@TigerT242 yes for all we know Bloo and her affiliates could be infiltrating the upper echelons of smogon as we speak, slowly gaining direct control over the entire community in order for her to win 1 smogon tournament and then get found out and banned again.
