It is refreshing to finally hear a Pakistani leader speak so candidly. To acknowledge Pakistan's fear of a pro-Indian government in Afghanistan and Pashtun nationalism goes a long way in earning trust.
It's shame that CNN didn't upload the full clip of this great interview since they don't want the real truth to spread out. PM Imran Khan gave a perfect account of the history of U.S.- Pakistan relations when it comes to the war on terrorism in Afghanistan.

They showed enough. If I were responsible @CNN, I would fire Anderson and ask for another interview with a civilised and competent interviewer. They could send John Oliver, that would probably be interesting.
It didn't go as intended; Becky got egg on her face. The harder she tried, the worse the outcome, had to keep changing the subject. She thought it would be a piece of cake, like handling the goof Nawaz Sharif with his parchis.

Typical Western journalistic style when talking to Third World leaders...Condescending, frequently interrupting the other person, laughing at answers, showing exasperation in your face, loading questions with paragraphs of accusations and insults... cheap n arrogant journalist as usual.

Becky Anderson needs learn manners, she abruptly tells the PM of Pakistan Imran Khan to "STOP RIGHT THERE". She is not speaking to a school boy or her first born. She is speaking to the most poplar personality, who happens to be the most beloved sports star of our times. She herself is aware of his fame. The PM has been kind enough to answer all her questions regardless of there relativity to the region. She proved herself to be a stooge of the WEST. Her questions are more of accusative nature.
Indeed. But Imran Khan is also behaving like a school kid, explaining the things to the reporter. He should have been sitting comfortably and not behaving like he needs to explain anything.

Just take his statement that the USA should have negotiated with the Taliban when they were defeated and the USA had control over Afghanistan 10 years ago.
If Khan is not lying, that's what he proposed.
I guess at the time, the USA was utterly confident that they won the war and had no need to make concessions. They were wrong.
At the time when Trump negotiated with the Taliban, it was clear that the USA has no interest in Afghanistan and would eventually leave. The Taliban meanwhile set themselves up in a waiting position and managed to surprise not only the USA by how fast and efficiently they took over control.
I think this is a quite impressive example for why it would have been wise for the USA to listen to Khan then and why it might be wise to talk to him now. Isn't it?
It also takes some guts to stay open to communication if an ally attacks your country repeatedly with drone strikes. Khan apparently understands why the USA is behaving that way, but its certainly not something that's easily ignored. Khan shows an impressive amount of restraint and an unbelievable amount of constructiveness, at least in his communications. I'm really impressed.

This interview was very instructive to me showing the inherent biased opinion of Becky. And Khan’s answers were very reasonable and showed me clearly how the US was wrong in so many ways. Unfortunately the US people aren’t capable of understanding nuances and have very simple views. Countires need to “just say no” to unreasonable demands from the US.

Because Anderson did not evaluate Khans arguments, they stand.
He is only leader from asia and muslim world who can communicates to the western world and they understand him. Gradually he will be centre of gravity in muslim community for west.
