hey! makeup artist here! just some tips for you to like your makeup on yourself more: - the most important step is skin prep! cleanse your face, add a hydrating serum and moisturiser and let them sink in before putting foundation on! this is the key step for it to not get "cakey" and to look more glowy, as well as it lasting longer and not separating. - Light layers of liquid products as you did is key to a natural look. With the undereyes, unfortunately no matter what you do makeup will crease if you have natural creases (which everyone has so don't worry!) But to prevent it looking more creased, prep the under eye area with eye cream, and put a light layer of concealer on top or you can even use your foundation for it not to look so bright. And reblend before setting with powder so you don't set your creases. - Your bronzer/contour placement was perfect! You can add more bronzer/blush to the sides of your forehead and nose to add some more colour - One last thing, if you're going for an everyday, natural and glowy look, set with powder as you did but you don't necessarily need to bake. Baking is more for long-lasting, matte looks or people with oily skin. You can set with a powder brush for a more natural effect All in all you did amazing!

As someone who doesn't wear makeup I would like to give reccomendations that I have learned from my mom and the internet. So with foundation swatching its best to do it on your neck when picking a new foundation. Powder goes on after foundation (so it is good how you did it) and when applying powder just tap!!. You should try going to a marshalls, winners or homsense. They usually have cheaper brushes, beauty blenders and powder puffs (which are great for using powder) !! btw you need highlighter brushes for highlighter. I have the same problem with undereye creases which I hate but usually when I see the lines I just blend in the concealer again with my finger or beauty blender. Definitely try and watch makeup videos on youtube for help! Also if you do not want your hair to get in your face use bobby pins!! You look really gorgeous with your makeup btw you did amazing!! I adore that your boyfriend is so supportive and sweet!!
Girl first of all great job, you look pretty anyway💕 and for the eye creases I’ve been having the same problem n what solved it was putting moisturiser under my eyes right before I put the concealer and damping ur beauty blender alil bit so that it’d actually apply the concealer equally throughout ur skin.

You look so beautiful. I also know nothing about makeup. I usually just use concealer and mascara, but if I am going out somewhere nice then I will add eyeshadow and blush. And for brushes, I usually get the ones that have labels on them so I don't mix them up. I can't wait for more videos!!!
You did amazing! You can try with tapping the powder instead of brushing it off, that way it last longer and your concearler doesn't crease. Wear whatever makes you feel more you! You nailed all the products, at the beginning it's kinda weird seeing yourself differently, but you once you start feeling more confident with your technique it will get easier.

First, the makeup you wear should be what you are comfortable with. If you like all the products you bought then great. Hopefully you are having fun when you apply them, it shouldn’t be stressful. A few tips i would suggest: You mentioned cakey makeup, how your makeup lays depends on your skin care. Also your skin type should be considered with the products you buy. Apply foundation from the center of your face and work outwards even down the neck to make it seamless. (Using your hand as a palette is fine.) That’s a great concealer! Use a small brush next time and don’t just keep it right under the eye work it down some. So where you would see people do that larger triangle, work it in that region across the eye towards the temple. You really want to highlight that area. Your bronzer placement was great. Try starting at the highest point first so if you are a bit heavy handed most of the pigment will be at your hairline and you can blend down. If you notice it getting a bit patchy tap the brush as oppose to dragging back and forth. The blush was really pretty! Maybe use a less dense brush next time something more like the bronzer one. Go back in with the sponge if you have under eye creases before setting your under eyes. Baking isn’t necessary. If you want to clean up your makeup you can use a clean brush and go around the edges of your makeup. Tap powder in the lid, swirl the brush, tap off excess and tap the areas of your face that tend to get shiny throughout the day. I prefer a pressed powder to set all over the face then a loose powder to buff everything and make it look seamless. After you spray your setting spray you may want to go in and tap out any areas where the droplets were a bit bigger they can leave marks in the makeup…These are obviously just suggestions, you can apply your makeup however you want ❤ I mean absolutely no disrespect or hate at all. I worked as an esthetician and love makeup so this was fun for me 😂

Honestly you did great! I would say make sure you moisturize your under eyes to help with the creasing, and blend out the concealer again before setting it with the powder to blend out the creases so they’re not set that way. I would also recommend a skin tint, they’re less intense than foundation and I would definitely say it would be a great way to start while you figure out how to use the products (I personally like the rare beauty one - they’re also a but more forgiving if the shade match isn’t exact). Other than that I think you did a good job! Keep practicing and maybe watch some people applying makeup to see how other people do it so you can continue testing out what works for you! :)

i absolutely 100% think you are gorgeous and don’t need makeup BUT i do understand where you are coming from. i don’t want to get eyelash extensions either so i heat up an eyelash curler and curl my lashes b4 the gym! they stay curled the whole day and i also self tan sometimes to make myself feel more confident.
Imma write a whole bunch of points here lol -If you want to have your skin look glowy with makeup i recommend buying the glow recipe watermelon dew drops (it’s skincare too so you can wear without makeup) and I put it on before I use any makeup and it works as a primer and I find it makes products stick better and look more skin like - what helps with concealer is as you blend it kinda blend it up towards towards your temples if that makes any sense lol i find it makes it look better than just directly under your eyes and also maybe try an under eye primer (try the r.e.m beauty one) - as a Toronto girly pls don’t leave us hahahaha -if you want something a little extra you can put a little bit of highlighter in the corner of your eyes
hey Diana, I loved the way you expressed yourself in your video hahah, you know that like you, I was also one of the few people who used makeup because I had no idea what to use or how to do it, I'm very natural, I don't like to use things excessively, in August of last year I went to Sephora to buy makeup, I had no idea what to use so I looked for help and the guy was very professional and I managed to find what I needed. So, as not to take too long, I asked for natural makeup that doesn't harm my skin and that matches my color. I have yellow skin so it was always difficult for me to find a foundation for my skin but he helped me a lot....so I also realized that I have to keep in mind Cleaning and moisturizing the skin is important, so what I use is my -foaming CeraVe cleanser -Moisturizing CeraVe lotion -Sunsscrem (suppergoop-glowscreen) -Foundation (Givenchy- skin caring glow) -Concealer -Blush -Mascara That's the only thing I use and I look super natural and glowy and it doesn't damage my skin. I recommend that you use ice to reduce inflammation around the circumference of your eyes. It will help you a lot... with a lot of love and I admire you a lot.🥰

hey! makeup artist here! just some tips for you to like your makeup on yourself more:
- the most important step is skin prep! cleanse your face, add a hydrating serum and moisturiser and let them sink in before putting foundation on! this is the key step for it to not get "cakey" and to look more glowy, as well as it lasting longer and not separating.
- Light layers of liquid products as you did is key to a natural look. With the undereyes, unfortunately no matter what you do makeup will crease if you have natural creases (which everyone has so don't worry!) But to prevent it looking more creased, prep the under eye area with eye cream, and put a light layer of concealer on top or you can even use your foundation for it not to look so bright. And reblend before setting with powder so you don't set your creases.
- Your bronzer/contour placement was perfect! You can add more bronzer/blush to the sides of your forehead and nose to add some more colour
- One last thing, if you're going for an everyday, natural and glowy look, set with powder as you did but you don't necessarily need to bake. Baking is more for long-lasting, matte looks or people with oily skin. You can set with a powder brush for a more natural effect

As someone who doesn't wear makeup I would like to give reccomendations that I have learned from my mom and the internet. So with foundation swatching its best to do it on your neck when picking a new foundation. Powder goes on after foundation (so it is good how you did it) and when applying powder just tap!!. You should try going to a marshalls, winners or homsense. They usually have cheaper brushes, beauty blenders and powder puffs (which are great for using powder) !! btw you need highlighter brushes for highlighter. I have the same problem with undereye creases which I hate but usually when I see the lines I just blend in the concealer again with my finger or beauty blender. Definitely try and watch makeup videos on youtube for help! Also if you do not want your hair to get in your face use bobby pins!! You look really gorgeous with your makeup btw you did amazing!! I adore that your boyfriend is so supportive and sweet!!

You did amazing! You can try with tapping the powder instead of brushing it off, that way it last longer and your concearler doesn't crease. Wear whatever makes you feel more you! You nailed all the products, at the beginning it's kinda weird seeing yourself differently, but you once you start feeling more confident with your technique it will get easier.

First, the makeup you wear should be what you are comfortable with. If you like all the products you bought then great. Hopefully you are having fun when you apply them, it shouldn’t be stressful. A few tips i would suggest:
You mentioned cakey makeup, how your makeup lays depends on your skin care. Also your skin type should be considered with the products you buy.
Apply foundation from the center of your face and work outwards even down the neck to make it seamless. (Using your hand as a palette is fine.)
That’s a great concealer! Use a small brush next time and don’t just keep it right under the eye work it down some. So where you would see people do that larger triangle, work it in that region across the eye towards the temple. You really want to highlight that area.
Your bronzer placement was great. Try starting at the highest point first so if you are a bit heavy handed most of the pigment will be at your hairline and you can blend down. If you notice it getting a bit patchy tap the brush as oppose to dragging back and forth.
The blush was really pretty! Maybe use a less dense brush next time something more like the bronzer one.
Go back in with the sponge if you have under eye creases before setting your under eyes. Baking isn’t necessary. If you want to clean up your makeup you can use a clean brush and go around the edges of your makeup.
Tap powder in the lid, swirl the brush, tap off excess and tap the areas of your face that tend to get shiny throughout the day. I prefer a pressed powder to set all over the face then a loose powder to buff everything and make it look seamless.
After you spray your setting spray you may want to go in and tap out any areas where the droplets were a bit bigger they can leave marks in the makeup…These are obviously just suggestions, you can apply your makeup however you want ❤ I mean absolutely no disrespect or hate at all. I worked as an esthetician and love makeup so this was fun for me 😂

Honestly you did great! I would say make sure you moisturize your under eyes to help with the creasing, and blend out the concealer again before setting it with the powder to blend out the creases so they’re not set that way. I would also recommend a skin tint, they’re less intense than foundation and I would definitely say it would be a great way to start while you figure out how to use the products (I personally like the rare beauty one - they’re also a but more forgiving if the shade match isn’t exact). Other than that I think you did a good job! Keep practicing and maybe watch some people applying makeup to see how other people do it so you can continue testing out what works for you! :)

i absolutely 100% think you are gorgeous and don’t need makeup BUT i do understand where you are coming from. i don’t want to get eyelash extensions either so i heat up an eyelash curler and curl my lashes b4 the gym! they stay curled the whole day and i also self tan sometimes to make myself feel more confident.

-If you want to have your skin look glowy with makeup i recommend buying the glow recipe watermelon dew drops (it’s skincare too so you can wear without makeup) and I put it on before I use any makeup and it works as a primer and I find it makes products stick better and look more skin like
- what helps with concealer is as you blend it kinda blend it up towards towards your temples if that makes any sense lol i find it makes it look better than just directly under your eyes and also maybe try an under eye primer (try the r.e.m beauty one)

So, as not to take too long, I asked for natural makeup that doesn't harm my skin and that matches my color. I have yellow skin so it was always difficult for me to find a foundation for my skin but he helped me a lot....so I also realized that I have to keep in mind Cleaning and moisturizing the skin is important, so what I use is my
-foaming CeraVe cleanser
-Moisturizing CeraVe lotion
-Sunsscrem (suppergoop-glowscreen)
-Foundation (Givenchy- skin caring glow)
-Concealer
-Blush
-Mascara
That's the only thing I use and I look super natural and glowy and it doesn't damage my skin. I recommend that you use ice to reduce inflammation around the circumference of your eyes. It will help you a lot... with a lot of love and I admire you a lot.🥰
