    I find it incredible that there are people that would actually give this a thumbs down. Someone takes the time to put this on the air, gives a good explanation, makes a great and easy to read video with entertaining imagery and that's still not satisfactory??? WTF.

    • @Damianblf
      @Damianblf  7 лет назад +26

      Thank you Rockabilly88 that was kind of you to say. It's nice to be recognized for the hard work I put into my lessons. I really appreciate it.
      The important thing is that the lessons are helping out others, so I never let any of the negative comments and dislikes bother me.
      Keep on rockin my friend!

      That is the sad part of RUclips comment section, Damian makes a great series of videos that ABACADABRA! will give you guitar skills in a half hour or less and somebody has to go negative. The goods news is that Damian gets 1k thumbs up and keeps making his great works with a smile!

    • @pharmerdavid1432
      @pharmerdavid1432 6 лет назад +2

      Negative comments are likely from people who made their own inferior video lessons. This is FUN, and informative. I love swing guitar, although I'm more of a lead player - I need to learn...THANKS!!

    • @searchdivision
      @searchdivision 6 лет назад +4

      There are a shit ton of assholes on the Interwebs, my friend. DB is one of the best guitar teachers/music educators on the RUclipss.

    • @andy16666
      @andy16666 5 лет назад +2

      That being said, I find comments like this odd. Out of 2.2k likes, it would be very odd to not find at least 10 drunk guys who misclicked. Elementary stats tell you that you'd be extremely unlikely to ever see 100% likes, even if 100% of people liked the video.

      Many also undervalue the influence that Western Swingers had on the NYC Hardcore scene in the mid to late 1980's. Many feel that it was instrumental to its evolution.

    Fantastic! As an old rock guitar player who’s been pursuing jazz for the last couple of years, I’ve found it really hard to get into most styles of guitar jazz - as rad as they might be harmonically, they just seem way too mellow, and they don’t really communicate (for me anyway) the power of swing. The style you’re demonstrating here has all the groove and swing that I’ve been looking for … Thanks a million for making this!
