Here it is 2021 and I am plum fool about this group called "Hot Club of Cowtown". Man it doesn't getting any better and tighter than that. One of my favorite Bob Wills songs growing up in South Texas. This rendition could wake the dead!
You are not kidding. Just saw them again Saturday night in Northampton, Mass. Have seen them countless times - always when they come around. Spellbound by the talent. Brought my brother & sister - in - law, and thought they were fabulous. I do not care what your musical preferences are. You can not walk away from a live show without being thoroughly entertained. They opened with Ida Red, by the way.
Hi from the UK. We were blown away a few years ago when you were on tour here in England..... Made such an impression on us, that its unforgettable. Fabulous players and vocalists. Thank you so much from Norwich Norfolk UK❤
Great harmonies, excellent groove, great fiddle. And what a TASTY little guitar break starting at 1:06! Not the "usual stuff" at all! Bob Wills would be proud to hear it.
That fiddle has a lot of that Bob Wills sound, the best I have heard yet. We need a lot more of this kind of music. Thanks for bringing back the music of Bob Wills.
@@apostasiaelegcho5612 Maybe not good enough for you and Bob Wills but plenty good enough for Willie Nelson, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan, the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame and a long list of others. We know about Bob Wills. What does your resume look like, professor?
I got a red head daughter, who truly needs to hear this song... Her name is Eve, not Ida... I will share this fabulous song with her... Thank you, keep on jammin'... Velva from Santa Fe, N.Mexico 5-9-16
I *love* this!!! (have the recording but how fun to see on RUclips) That is one of the hottest fiddles I’ve ever heard ( and the others are great too)!
Not bad...Ha, ha, ha, ha. They've got the jazz on the western swing. And just three of them. Talent plus in spades. I'd pay good money to see them live.

I think Elana feels every note on that fiddle right down to her soul. You can tell she is having fun!!
A whole hell of a lot of talent goes unnoticed. Here is a perfect example.
This a really, really well done cover of my favorite Bob Wills songs. Hats off in respect...

Apostasia could you be so kind as to tell us where in this video her fiddle playing "slops", so we can all learn from your perfect pitch?
So you can't provide an answer. Bob Wills himself wasn't exactly classically trained, so far as I've read.

They fill every sonic space in the room with joy.

I have come to love this music.
Great band 👍. That sure was a fancy guitar break there ❤️
If you don't feel like dancin' when these guys get to playing then you must be already dead.

I came here because I didn't get enough in that Algeria show :D I'm a big fan of that band already!
Some serious talent right there . .
... and as nice a group of people you'd ever hope to meet...
These guys/gal are awesome.
That’s a fun oldie. 😄 You caught the Bob Wills vibe.
An awesome version. Great playing guys!
Simply fantastic. Check out Elana's experience. Further proof she loves real music. So talented this group can do anything. Fantastic live too.
