The more expensive one looks like the old model of the Adidas track suit. Like the kind my mom had back in the 90s. I’ve seen some similar in the thrift stores. The regular Adidas one seems to be cut more more modern. I think they booth look great. Just depend on what style you personally like.

I was a Balenciaga hater for years until around 2020 when I had tried something on and then it made sense. It’s the cuts, the detail, the material. Seeing them side by side really shows how amazing the cuts of Balenciaga. I’m waiting on my jeans pre-order and have a hoodie coming sometime this week 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Being subcribred to your channel for quite some time, i am currently working for adidas. The two tracksuits that you are comparing are not even the same material because they are different articles. Adidas makes the same tracksuit with the same material that the balenciaga used to make theirs for ages you just picked the wrong one, quality wise they are the same things just with a balenciaga logo and x10 oversized and x500 overpriced. Also the trefoil logo line (Originals) is not used for sports these are the retro lines of adidas casual/streetwear. The three stripes logo is the line of clothing used for adidas performance clothes.
I just picked up the only adidas tracksuit available at a local store - i did say that in the video - I actually ordered a very similar adidas one from asos but it was shockingly different in quality and in size - i did mention that adidas products are not made in Italy and no way near as oversized - hence it being a balenciaga product not an adidas product. Ty for the info though!
I see, adidas do make oversized clothes (Neuclassics) but no where near as oversized you like them. Adidas uses recycled materials to make their shoes / clothes as their slogan says " END PLASTIC WASTE " with that being said balenciaga is strict under adidas guidelines if they want to use their logo. Read the materials on the tags BALENCIAGA: Material: 54% cotton, 46% polyamide 1800$ ADIDAS: 60% recycled polyester, 40% cotton interlock 53$. Balenciaga didn't made anything new or different from what adidas had to offer in the past. These are just marketing gimmick for fashion aficionados and rich people to think that they get something different from the "ordinary" people. Different strokes, for different folks i guess.
Buy you say it as if it’s a trick lmao some people collect cars, some people like to go travelling, some people like clothing/design - just because you don’t think it’s ‘worth it’ doesn’t mean other people should think the same - I said this all in the video too so it’s obvious you didn’t watch it haha
I like @gallucks because he knows his strengths and weaknesses and he knows how to utilise the cuttings to improve his proportions. Ugly fat dudes wearing slim regular fits thinking that they look like the poster boy 😂😂
@@Gallucks I did watch it though, and yes you've stated it in the video but that doesn't change the fact that these companies are ripping off the fashion industry. Being working on all the big companies for over 10 years, the garments are no where near as the quality it's been used back in the days, and yes i do stand by my opinion and say it's just a a gimmick. True luxury and true fashion has nothing to do with what these companies represent, and that is easly shawn by the backlash that they got with their "collaborations" from the people.

Yayyy Joel! The bal fit is so much more interesting and higher quality. I would def get one if I could afford and sad I can’t. Gotta say you still looked fresh in the OG adidas. Maybe size xxxl would have been slightly closer. Tapered legs would deffo put me off. Thanks Joel!

But adidas is just basic sports clothing you can buy for £40 many dif adidas tracktops and £40 adidas track bottoms why would a person want spend £700 to mix premium balenciaga with adidas. Even if the materials are better its not alot better like £600 more, no way. In a years time ppl would have forgot balenciaga did a collab with adidas and it will look like its just adidas i mean it is just adidas now really aesthetically.
But that’s what I’m saying It’s for balenciaga fans - not for someone who just wants to buy a tracksuit 😂 unless you’re incredibly wealthy i guess !

If i'm buying balenciaga i want the whole thing to be balenciaga style and feel. i've only got 1 item of balenciaga the speed runners so if i bought some other balenciaga item like a hoodie from them it would feel like i wasted my opportunity if it was a balenciaga adidas collab hoodie instead.

Dope collection, but bruv when I tell you I went through 3 white triple s before finding a non crooked pair. Love them tho, advise against the black pair, it lacks presence.

Whilst there’s loads of questionable Balenciaga stuff not worth the price (Hard Crocs for example), there are some decent pick ups that are worth the price. Either from material use such as the Track 2s with 180 different layers and improved silhouette over the original or the design like the Defenders which are so innovative compared to anything on the market (New Balance, Nike and Triple Ss)
I think saying “you just don’t understand” to people who are critical of the Adidas x Balenciaga collab and pricing is missing the point. You see RUclipsrs and Influencers saying stuff like this to their viewers who don’t realise not everyone has the same level of privilege as you and can’t afford to drop thousands on new clothes with every new release. Yes the fits are different, yes the design is a little more considered but not every item is worth the extortionate price and downplaying people’s critique is a little disingenuous.

There’s actually a womens Adidas tracksuit that fits more closely too the balenciaga option than the one you showed here but cut isn’t has cool as the actual balenciaga.
