There have been several ads with this song, the most popular perhaps for amazon music, And Visa had an ad with this song just lately, also there is a funny one from Honda, so you might have heard the song. Just do a youtube search for the ads, if you want to watch them. But hey, isn't this live performance just killing it?? ... If you've heard the song before or not.
The stars aligned and the gods smiled when these 4 lads got together and formed a band, it happened once before when 4 other lads started a band, they called themselves The Beatles. Roger Taylor's drumming and backing vocals are epic. If you were in the audience that night you will remember that forever. Pure raw talent without ANY trickery, just a LIVE performance by 4 artists.
Freddie and Queen are legendary. There has never been a front man quite like Freddie before or since. And each member of the band supplies something unique to their greatness as a band. Brian May is an amazing guitarist (and has a PhD in Astrophysics and a MSci in Mathematics) not only that, but his guitar 'Red Special' was built by himself and his dad from a 100+ year old fireplace frame, along with other things from his home (a kitchen knife on the tremalo, knitting needles and the springs out of his mums bike) Roger Taylor is an amazing drummer (and has a Degree in Biology) but he is also a tremendous singer, and provides backing vocals on a lot of tracks. John Decon is an Electrical Engineer and built the Amp that Brian plays on, which is totally unique as well. Oh, and all 4 members of the band wrote (UK) number one hits. Roger Taylor - Radio Ga Ga John Decon - I want to break free Brian May - Who wants to live forever Freddie Mercury - Bohemian Rhapsody They are almost the very definition of what everyone expects a rock band to be.

This is one of my favorite videos of Queen! Freddie is a legend! Freddie's greatest instruments were his voice and his control of the audience. Freddie, Roger, John and Brian were the perfect combination together. I miss Freddie so much!
Micheal J was a big fan, came to concerts & hung out with Freddie. Also convinced the band to release "Another One Bites the Dust" as a single (they weren't really behind it). It was a big #1 single for bassist John Deacon on Billboard & R & B charts. Thanks!
One of Queen's and especially Freddie's greatest live songs caught on camera. Just imagine the thousands of songs they performed that were not caught on camera!!! We missed so much, but are so lucky we have what we were able to get. Great reaction, thanks!
@@heyjude1920 Thanks! I have several of their full concerts! I also have up to 50 concerts of audio only, and you can find them for free on RUclips. Unfortunately the quality isn't always that great. I was thinking of all the music they played live for 15+ years that wasn't recorded, and how much we missed! But, you are absolutely right that there are incredible shows from Queen on Amazon! Thanks!!
Queen is Legendary and always will be..Amazing chemistry, totally focused, very harmonized, and a lot of energy. Freddie, Brian, Roger and John, best musicians by far. Don't forget Roger's backing vocals while playing the drums. Concerts are not like that today. No lip syncing whatsoever. Pure talent. ❤️🔥
I keep hearing comments in the reaction vids about the instruments, how they played them, the talent... I think we took it for granted in the ‘70’s. Very proud to have been a massive QUEEN fan. Saw them live (with Freddie) 5 times:) Thanks so much!!!
As someone from England I can't fathom that people haven't heard of Queen, I was 5 when he died, but I think queen is in our genetic memory, but I totally get why other people haven't heard it. It's testimony to Queen that people from a different walk of life, from a different era, people who have different preferences in music genres are still discovering their music. It's Freddy's legacy. Also its testament to those seeking out to broaden their horizons in music to open their world up to this 'rock' music and maybe discover that a lot of what they listen to is influenced by this band! Great video, keep up the good work!!
I agree with "White Queen" Live at the Odeon....that song, especially the instrumental in the middle....plays your flipping soul..no lie! One of the most beautiful instrumentals I've heard.
#Challenge Seven Seas of Rye live at the rainbow! So early in their career, yet they all demonstrate their proof as gods of music and pure talent! Especially Freddie and drummer Roger Taylor's backing high note vocals are perfectly insane: as close to the studio version as you'll ever possibly get!
There will never be another voice like his. He wouldn't even have his teeth fixed or his wisdom teeth removed because he was afraid it would affect his vocals. They were even doing a study on his vocals of how he could hit so many ranges.
Today's artists are all about image..can you imagine any of them leaving their teeth like Freddie did? Hell no...to Freddie music was more important than image..true artist...not just for the money!!
@@teresaleet4877 Well Queen are all about image - look at their clothes especially in the 70's and they perform and have a great stageshow. Freddie had four extra incisors and was afraid that moving them would ruin his voice.

Look, all the glasses you see on the piano is not only beer but also water and a special drink of hot water lemon and honey for Freddie's throat... Haha Freddie didn't drink much beer while on stage... A few times he got drunk but he was a real pro... As I told you in video of "Don't Stop me Now" reaction, I #challenge you to do "Get Down Make Love"...

Yes, this. The Montreal '81 version here is completely awesome, and the vocal pyrotechnics are second to none. But this song is a tribute to Aretha Franklin -- Freddie was a huge fan of hers -- and it has a gospel feel to it that comes through much more strongly in the studio version. The harmonies are stronger and deeper, because they could layer the voices, and have Freddie singing both lead and back-up. Definitely watch the studio version. And if you do a reaction to it, I'll watch. :)

Ok, I know someone has already mentioned this to you but why have you not done a reaction to George Michael performing this song at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert? George was very nervous because it was not only his favorite Queen song, it was Freddie's favorite Queen song as well, so no way he can mess this up. On top of that he had just learned a few months before that the love of his life was HIV positive which was a death sentence at that time. George said he knew he had to honor his friend Freddie and pray for his love Anselmo. To put it mildly, George brought the house down. People who did not really know or like George became instant fans after his performance. I don't know what you are doing with yourself Holla but you have got to get on this. I miss George being in the world but like to think of him with his friend Freddie and his love Anselmo. There just needs to be more George in your life period. Anything live from him is amazing.

Soooo - about Montreal 1981 - it was a 2 night gig being filmed and the band were at serious odds with the film crew so they were kinda playing pissed. To me - it's amazing it didn't show through as a negative. It probably made them perform even better I suppose but Freddie really took it out on the film crew during the encore on night 2 (purposely wearing different outfit to screw with the continuity of the filming - editing purposes). Sooo - another thing to point out - Freddie is also NOT using an ear piece - his microphone technology was of the time (1981) and drinking a beer during the performance. He masterfully used the range between the distance of his mouth to the mic and the power of his lungs to create VOCALS that out perform artists then and now (with and without their technologies).
Props to Roger Taylor 👏 on the drums!! BTW..The beverages were Tea. Freddie did NOT drink carbonated beverages during a performance..for obvious reasons. Your reaction was raw and genuine!

Freddie died in 1991, but he lives on. Watch the Green Day concert in 2017 at Hyde Park. Before the performance of other groups, the music of Bohemian Rhapsody was played, and all 60,000 people there sang every word, some even sang the guitar riffs.
Love your reactions man, especially your facial ones, when you are feeling the music!!! This song has been sampled & used in so many ways, it is not surprising you have heard it before. Freddie Mercury was notably one of the best Front Man ever, & so glad you are enjoying this journey!!!
I 1st heard this song in Happy Feet, best part of the movie to be honest. At the time I didn't know it was a Queen song and when I learnt it was 'yep another great song by Queen'.
Freddie in his bag. Another day in the office for that guy. I am not a rock casual. I was listening to Queen in 1990 at the age of 5 in the back of a Chevy Blazer. My mom was a huge Queen fan.
It's funny how the new generation talks about the beer on the piano, as a teen growing up during this period and going to concerts at age 14, this was normal. Lots of beer and tons of weed at concerts back then. Oh and the best music ever played.
This whole concert is awesome. Save Me and Dragon Attack from this concert you probably haven't heard. If you want to see where MJ got the idea for the one glove see Queen Live at the Rainbow 1974. Great songs include Liar, and to hear the drummer, Roger Taylor's incredible falsetto In the Lap of the Gods. Another beautiful song is White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975.
#CHALLENGE QUEEN " INNUENDO" It was from Queens last studio album with Freddie. There is so many social issues that we still fight to this day, but the song makes you feel that ANYTHING is possible and to be happy for your truth.
Brittney Murphy sang this song rather well in Happy Feet. It's an animated movie, but anybody can enjoy it. It's full of music like Queen and Prince and Stevie Wonder, it's one of my favorite movies!
Michael Jackson was pretty close with the band and Michael loved Freddie . They even did some songs together and “there’s more to life than this”is really beautiful! Check it out! When queen were working on their “ The Game” album in 1980. they just released crazy Little thing called love and it went straight to number one in the USA. Michael came in the studio and heard another one bites the dust and told the band, “you’ve got a release this you got a release it!” ”. i’m telling you guys you gotta release this song because it’s going to go gold in America. Thanks to Michael Jackson QUEEN had their first not just platinum but quadruple platinum song in the USA!! Thank you MJ! I love that song as well and it was even in the top 100 for like 31 or 32 weeks in the USA you couldn’t get away from that song because as soon as one song was not popular anymore, the DJs would start playing another one bites the last all the time on the radio. It was funny because Roger Taylor and Brian May were saying they didn’t even know if they were going to put that song on the album yet. Queen when I hadn’t released it and it was a hit so how could they not put it on the album! The game is one of my favorite albums by then in addition to news of the world. The miracle nine of the opera and innuendo. Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor were the focal beast behind this band and Roger Taylor on the drums and vocals with John Deacon on bass were the powerhouse in the back.

It's funny how the new generation talks about the beer on the piano, as a teen growing up during this period and going to concerts at age 14, this was normal. Lots of beer and tons of weed at concerts back then. Oh and the best music ever played.
Straight talent no auto tune ..x x no bullshit ....
It was the intro to Bohemian Rhapsody, the Queen Biopic.
Freddie how we miss you. ❤️
It was also in the movie "Ella enchanted" starring Anne Hathaway. She sang it herself. 🤗
Freddie always he was not going to be a rock star, he was going to be a legend and so they are .
listin to "who wants to live forever" by queen
I was in the concert of Queen in Brussels 1980..yesterday
This whole concert is awesome. Save Me and Dragon Attack from this concert you probably haven't heard. If you want to see where MJ got the idea for the one glove see Queen Live at the Rainbow 1974. Great songs include Liar, and to hear the drummer, Roger Taylor's incredible falsetto In the Lap of the Gods. Another beautiful song is White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975.
Queen da bomb. I know them well....miss dearly.
#CHALLENGE
QUEEN " INNUENDO"
It was from Queens last studio album with Freddie. There is so many social issues that we still fight to this day, but the song makes you feel that ANYTHING is possible and to be happy for your truth.
2:14 as many he wish for it and other one in heaven! He really deserve it! Rest in peace Freddie Mercury we truly miss you.
The Miracle is another great song by Queen! Love your reactions!!
Watch Queen at Live Aid...he has almost 500 thousand peopke mimicking his every move...Epic!!!
Brittney Murphy sang this song rather well in Happy Feet. It's an animated movie, but anybody can enjoy it. It's full of music like Queen and Prince and Stevie Wonder, it's one of my favorite movies!
That’s warm honey and lemon he’s sipping on in the small cups 💕
If you haven't seen the studio version of this song, it's also worth watching just for the harmonies alone.
You really need to check out There Must Be More To Life Than This by Freddie and Michael Jackson both. I think you might enjoy that one.
Getting that on the list !!
@@HollaAtKrazy great I really think you'll enjoy it
Michael Jackson was pretty close with the band and Michael loved Freddie .
